Taqueria & Restaurant Vallarta — Restaurant in Texas City

I wasted no time to post this review! I want everyone to know and be aware of their service! My food order was wrong, I waited literally the entire time for our waitress to return, restaurant was pretty empty, as well as our drinks, & our waitress never returned back to our table. I had to get up & explain to the manager who’s working the front register about my order being incorrect. He says absolutely nothing, not even an apology, walked over and removed my plate from my table, and then has the audacity to charge me $1.75 for touching my beans that were on my plate. I paid my bill, obviously the restaurant is doing that bad, that he couldn’t write off the beans. I hope the $1.75 was worth it! Im a resident in Texas City and will never be returning. I’ll take my business to Taqueria El Jaliciense, literally less than a minute away. I’ve been happy with their service before, which is why I was there tonight, but after the treatment I received from their “manager” this evening, I will not...

The shrimp cocktail blue my mind, do not expect it to be on point like this. Just right amount of shrimp, avocado pieces, cilantro, onion and of course the sauce that comes with rides and for only $10.

The server was on point with everything as well as far as bringing a whole basket of crackers instead of just three or four little packets, straws, napkins I mean she put it out there. Another star.

Price on the menus, very reasonable I expected to pay $13 for this $10 shrimp cocktail. Everything else on the menu seems around the $7 or $8 dollar, not $11 or $12 which is ridiculous in my opinion and the other reason why I hardly frequent Mexican restaurants.

And another thing that really made me a fan of this place is they have chilliquillss ". #sp in the morning which I have not tried it yet but on my bucket list.

Definitely returning to this restaurant even though there are about fifty others about the same...

Just ordered 3 enchilada plates from here for my family, we have had a pretty good experience in the past here until the past two times.. and now I'm just annoyed. I found a hair in my plate, which is gross but I figured the place would have no issues just apologizing and offering a refund but the guy on the phone was incredibly rude. "Bring me the plate and we will replace it. Bring me the plate." is all he said, three times. No offense but I don't want another hairy plate, thanks. He didn't even seem to have an issue with the fact that there was a hair in it, but instead seemed annoyed that I was bringing it to their attention. My husband loves this place but we're not going back. Attached is said hair, and I'm a blonde soooo......
