The experience starts with the egg and the other side of the perfectly toasted english muffin bread. You then put the top on the rest of the masterpiece gently pushing down so it adheres to the rest of the mountain but gently pressing so the egg starts to drip down the sides into the meat, cheese and sweet potato tots. Once you pick it up you realize how big of a masterpiece you now have to somehow fit in your mouth... you somehow force it in and immediately your mouth and body are transferred to flavor paradise. The tomato, cheese, perfectly flavored meat and saracha sauce all work in harmony to create this moment. The experience is soon over but the memories will stay with the brain and tongue forever! Until next time 5.ate...adios and keep up the good work!!

I found 5 Ate Cafe on an online list of the best pizza place in every state or something like that. I'm glad it was near me now that I live in Houston. They are located in Spring right off of I-45 in a rock climbing place (I intend to go back for the wall) On the way back from Dallas I stopped to see if it is infact the best pizza in Texas. (They close at 9 so I drove with purpose) I ordered the Italian supreme on the phone and when I arrived there staff was very friendly. I took the pizza home with me (I live near downtown) so it was not hot anymore however I was impressed on the taste of the pizza and texture/ taste of crust. Great pizza! Great Customer service!

Really good food. I had the Vietnamese Bahn Mi, and my friends had burgers. They both said that their foodThe was very good, and mine was pretty amazing. The garlic fries were worth the $1 upcharge; they were pretty amazing! I would definitely get the bahn mi again, but I'm also interested in trying their pizza.

The cafe is inside the rock gym. I find it pretty entertaining to watch people on the rock wall. It wasn't overly loud in the place; the there kids weren't screaming or anything. If you generally don't like to be in a place that feels a little chaotic, this might not be the place for you. Since the cafe area is quite small and the rock wall area is just a few steps away, it's not a place to go for comfortable dining.

The real reason for not giving it the full five stars, though, doesn't have to do with the small dining area or the activity in the surroundings. The other people in my group were stopping through my area for lunch. The first question one of them asked was how long it would take for food to come out. (I do not know if he specified burgers or if she asked.) Whatever she told them was far off the mark, apparently. They weren't in a big rush, but we all expected the answer to remain in the ball park. The wait wasn't too long, but I wasn't on the clock. They were a little upset by the expectation given.

Overall, I would definitely visit this establishment again. We all agreed the food was that good. Next time, though, we'll either make sure we have ample time or we'll...

So we almost didnt stop at the random little place I found on google because my husband thought it was a church and a bogus address. I urged him to pull into the parking lot and we decided to go inside. We were confused. It was an indoor rock climbing place. But the little cafe was right there and we decided to order and check it out. I had the farm burger, hubs had the Hueco burger, kiddo had a kids burger. We ordered a variety of specialty fries: garlic, sweet potato, and regular. I about fell over at the 44 dollar price tag. But we were hungry and committed. Let me tell you, best dam decision we ever made for dinner! Hubs does not give 5 stars-EVER. He wanted to give this place a 6. The head chef came out to see us personally and ask how it was. I couldnt tell him enough how delicious everything tasted. I usually pull the bun off a burger and only pick at my fries. We left the establishment behind with empty baskets. This place is awesome and when we make the 1.5 hr trip to Spring we will most likely take the detour here. The bun was a homemade english muffin made fresh daily. And you can tell! I cant say enough good things about this...

I would've loved to give more stars...Carla was very friendly, courteous and had the patience of Job, however, there were a few things that overshadowed the team M.V.P.

  1. Food safety- a) No one preparing the food had on food service gloves. Sticking your hand in a bag of uncooked food to put in the fryer is a definite no. b) Placing your hand on the cooked food, wiping your hands on your clothing, and back to the food is a NO. Side Note: the house manager did come out and address my concerns, although appreciated, for the hefty$35.00 for 2 burgers and fries, it was a little too late.
  2. I ordered the Vegetable burger and it was definitely not worth a repeat visit. I basically had a mashed black bean sandwich. The edges were crisp but the inside fell completely apart. The taste was nothing to be desired. The other sandwich ordered was a beef burger. I was told it was on the level between BK & Whataburger. The bacon was a plus, and the English muffin bun was decent. The original fries were good. The garlic fries were not so good...it contained charred pieces of fresh garlic and no seasoning. At this point, I will not...
