If I could give ZERO stars, I would. The hotel itself is nice and clean, no problems there. The problem lies in the fact that if you ever accidentally leave an item behind don’t expect to ever get it back. I left some clothing items in the closet in the room when we checked out. When we arrived back home about 3 hours later, I discovered I had left the items and called immediately. I was told that the room had not been cleaned yet, so they would go and check to see if they were there and call me back. They never called, so I called back 2 hours later and I was told they hadn’t made it to the room yet but promised me that they would call. The next day came and they still hadn’t called, so I called again. At this point they said the items were found and the manager would call with information on how to get the items mailed to me. Again, NO CALL. So I called the next day and was told the manager had them and would mail them to me by Friday (3 days later). I said that was fine, gave my information and moved on. The following week I still had not received the clothes. Called again and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about and would have a manger call me. Again, no call from the manager. Each time I called I would be told the manager was busy or wasn’t in, or some other excuse and that they would call me back when they were in. But I never received a SINGLE phone call from the manager. Finally 3 and a half weeks later, I get a hold of the general manager, Micheal, and he said that he had no idea this was occurring and would get to the bottom of it and call me back by the next morning. No surprise, I did not receive a call. Called the next day and left another message for the manager to call, and again, no returned call. After getting the run around for WEEKS from the staff, and being told the managers would call us back which never happened, we called the corporate office. We were told they would file a claim and get back to us in 7-10 days, and that was 2 weeks ago. At this point, it has been weeks since I originally left the clothes and I highly doubt I will get them back, but the shear lack of customer service from both the hotel AND the corporate office is appalling. They have absolutely no respect for their customers and their belongings. I understand, I am at fault for leaving them, but one would expect that if an item was left and you called back before the room had even been cleaned, that you would get your items back. Never again will I stay at a La Quinta again and I will try to avoid all Wyndham...
Read moreSo I've been rooming here for years and want to first and foremost address the rude lady they have now at the front desk. I think her name was Margaret. Yucky, awful, terrible customer service. And what make it so bad is that she's a higher up if I'm not mistaken. Sheesh you would think if they were going to get a new front desk person that they would at least try to make sure the individual was better then the last one. Dean has taken care of our needs when we stay for about 2 years now. He's very professional and just really sets the tone as far as making us feel like family when we arrive until the time we leave. But yea Margaret needs to find a new profession or they just need to put her in the back folding towels or something. Yikes...not a foot move La Quinta. I did notice the hallways had a Marijuana smell to high heaven. And another MAJOR PROBLEM was there is no working washing machine....I had to hand wash all of my work clothes it was a nightmare and it ended up making me a few minutes late to work because I wasn't aware of the broken washing machines. I mean shoot you would think with the prices of the rooms you could at least have fully functional washing machines right? Please guys let's get that fixed ...like top priority. Breakfast was okay, rather repetitive but all in all pretty good. I'm pretty sure the best part of breakfast is actually the sweetest most caring older lady who is there to greet me upon arriving to eat breakfast. Miss Beverly is an all star employee and really is even above textbook customer service. She's always smiling and keeps the breakfast bar nice and clean and is always there if I should need anything but she pretty much makes sure before she opens breakfast that you really won't be needing anything. She pays great attention to detail and has great conversation...when she has a second of course...I just love her and she's a big part of why I keep coming to La Quinta when I do travel to Spring. Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to have Beverly train Margaret in some customer service/ good old southern hospitality. We just want to have good people greeting us and it was rather upsetting to find out they have such an awful individual running the show up front.... hopefully they will fix that issue along with the washing machines rather quickly. I would hate to have to stay somewhere else next time I'm in Spring just because...
Read moreIf I could give ZERO Stars, I would. We checked in on Friday 12.01.23; the room had no towels, no toiletries and the employee at the front desk was less than hospitable. I chalked it up to being a Friday and maybe they were just running behind. On Saturday morning, my husband and I went downstairs at 745am to have breakfast. We were out of our room for less than 30 minutes. Someone went into our room (NO FORCED ENTRY, SOMEONE MUST HAVE USED A KEY CARD) and stole my purse and all of his credit cards from his wallet. We were fortunate they didn't take their time bc they could have gotten so much more, but damage was done. This was our daughter's wedding day. They came in and took what they could grab quickly and moved on. I went downstairs and noticed that 2 police cars were in the parking lot. There was another family that had the same experience. They went down to breakfast between 7am and 9am and someone went in and robbed them as well. There was also a rash of vehicle theft the night before. The deputy said this has been an issue with this property. The employee at the front desk was NO help....wouldn't offer help and when I asked questions, she remained silent and shrugged her shoulders. They have no cameras in the hallways. She said the key readers on the room doors do not store any information (false). However, she was QUICK to run out to the cops to lay blame on another couple staying in the hotel. The deputy said this is an inside job....an employee who must be watching when people leave their room. Personally, I think it's a WHOLE GROUP OF THEIR EMPLOYEES WORKING TOGETHER. One must be watching what guests have when they check in, another is watching when they leave the room, another is watching when they leave the lobby and then they pass the stolen items off to someone who goes out to make charges immediately. Both the other victims and ourselves had charges within 30 minutes on opposite sides of town. We checked out immediately and the hotel still charged us for the room. They have been no help in trying to resolve this case. AVOID this hotel at all costs. Nothing has been worth the headache we are still going through trying to resolve all of this, cancel all our cards and replace things that were stolen. Some sentimental items in my purse can never be replaced and that's the hardest...
