MTea — Restaurant in Jersey Village

The milk tea was good but the service wasn’t so great. Meaning this, the menu says zero sugar to however many sugars indicating how sweet you want your tea. I’m not sure if the staff is new to the game but I’ve gone to many boba places and always ask if a certain drink can be done without syrup or any sweet/sugar. If they tell me no, I ask for options that could be done without sugar or anything that is sweet. There’s always an option mostly teas and milk teas. I asked for a jasmin milk tea but no sugar or anything sweet added to it. They gave me a jasmin milk tea with condensed milk 🤦🏻‍♀️ when I told the girl it was sweet she said it couldn’t be done and maybe she could add more half half milk to make it less sweet. Diabetics please it’s like they don’t get it. I took a sip because I trusted that it was unsweet since I’ve never experienced this in a boba place, and can’t have sugar!!! I asked how it was made and the condensed milk was added meaning they can leave it out but she insisted it needs to be added. I mean it’s included but it doesn’t need to be added right? I’ll even pay full price but no sweets. Another girl said she’d make it and did. I’m not sure if she diluted it or left the condensed milk out because my sugar did spike. I hope she did.

Please guys when someone says no sugar/no sweet specially if it’s promoted in your menu if it “can’t be done” please explain. We’re not being snotty we genuinely cannot have sugar and while it’s an inconvenience it’s also...

Place was clean and pleasant as always. I love ordering off the kiosk: my drinks are never wrong. It's nice that they have popcorn chicken, fried shrimp and fries now, so I can get savory snacks with friends too. And they're pretty tasty. I like this place! The environment/the place looks amazing and is very pleasing I like it and I can see that they are still working on it based on the ladder that is near the wall. The service was nice and easy. And the drink overall was not too good to me but that is because I am a little picky. I ordered brown sugar milk tea and I ended up getting black sugar milk tea I don't know if that is why it tastes different than the other times I've tried actual brown sugar milk tea but it does taste different !
