This burger King on FM 1093 in Richmond Texas area is a mess. I am not sure if all the employees are like the two who worked on Tuesday night. These two employees kept people waiting for almost 35 minutes without any update on what was the cause of the delay. Then after almost 40 minutes a lady came out and asked the cars to move and place their orders at the window. At this time many people had already left in dismay. My daughter after all that wait was pressed to use the restroom. We were boxed between cars going very slowly since orders were taken at the window. We went to ask if she can use the restroom based on the circumstances and thee likelihood that we will be there for another 20 to 30 minutes. These individuals ignored us like we were ghost. When we finally go to the window, they gave me the wrong order. I made an order online and they gave me something different. When I initially questioned based on the wrap, they said it's just the wrong wrap. When my other daughter asked for a spicy chicken order, they said they do not have chicken and only allowed us because we initially ordered online. I asked her how did you know we order online before we got to the window to allow us only because we ordered online? She well good bye and closed the window. Read moreSo after avoiding this place for 2 years, I figured it was time to try again. I recently had a terrible Whopper at a BK in Tampa Bay and anything from this location had to be a step up in quality. Aside from a little extended wait in the drive-thru, I must admit the overall quality has improved. The burgers appear made to order (hence the wait), service is positive, and they've gotten my order correct. I am changing my score from 1 star to 4 stars in recognition of the vast improvement in 2025.
Always looks closed and ridiculously long lines whenever I drive past; looks like my earlier concerns have only gotten worse. I wonder if this location will eventually close down because this cannot be sustainable for the franchise or the brand.
This used to be my junk food restaurant of choice; especially the Impossible Whopper. However, quality has gone down lately due to understaffing. I overlooked the incorrect orders, loose lids on drinks (fun experience when driving), and lengthy waits. But things hit rock bottom when I ordered breakfast through the BK app at 10am only to arrive and learn they no longer serve breakfast at this location due to lack of staff. I drove up to the drive through and I waited what seemed like more than five minutes for the employee to come take my order all while the pouring rain was coming in through my window. I decided to go up to the window to give her my order. That was a mistake because all I got was her attitude. She barked at me for not giving her my order through her little speaker. She told me that if I ever drove up to the window again she wouldn't give me my food. After I paid for the food she told me to drive up and they would bring me my order. After a short while another employee came out and flagged me down to come get my food. I moved my car closer to him and rolled down the window only to hear him bark at me on how I didn't listen to the other employee on where to park.
