Best TexMex on this side of Spring. Food is amazing and quick. Won’t wait more than 10-15mins for your plate. Margaritas are the bomb! Hope you have a tolerance if you get more than one. They have a bar and seating where you can smoke if you choose to. But it doesn’t smell bad or affect the other half of the restaurant you can’t even tell if people are smoking. I don’t know how they do it but you can’t smell the cigarettes unless you’re sitting in the smoking area or smoking yourself. Chips and dip come as soon as you sit down. Free of charge, no extra chip and dip fee. They bring red salsa but you can also ask for green also. Oh and they have half price bar food or appetizers I think it’s between 2 and 4pm. But that’s great. Oh also I have a lot of my business meetings here during the day because they have free WiFi And it’s quiet. The same management has been working here as long as I can remember. Same bar tender that knows everyone. On Friday and Saturday nights the bar is like the cool place to be. I’ve been going there for about 12 years now . Like family they know you when you start going. I also love that they have an ice cream machine so when you’re done with your meal or drink you get a free ice cream cone of your choice . Vanilla, chocolate or swirl. Just make it yourself as you’re walking out. Also, it’s in a shopping center. There’s like a phone store a hair salon a Botox place and some other things around there so if you’re waiting to get your hair done, you can go over there and have a quick bite. I am a Hair Stylist and I used to work at Posh 2 doors down in the shopping center. I would go over there and eat sometimes while my clients were processing their color. It’s quick especially if they know you are in a rush. There is a back private room if you need to hold a meeting . Very large. It’s the best place around here has all your needs and cheese burgers and French fries. Highly recommend! Photos of private room business event and a separate visit...
Read moreI absolutely LOVED this place. First the restaurant is very nicely decorated and their bathrooms are very clean and even have the privacy doors so you have more privacy than in regular public bathrooms. When we first entered the restaurant we were greeted by a very friendly staff who promptly served us chips and salsa. Their chips were one of the best and their green salsa was mild but very flavorful how I like it. Their red salsa was also mild and enjoyable however, not too different from other restaurants I've been to but regardless they were delicious. I ordered the Mexican tacos Al Pastor with additions of avocado slices and limes. The plate was served with Spanish rice, charro beans which were ok but the TACOS were so good and very authentic. Exactly what you would find in a taco stand in Mexico. They were served with chopped onion and cilantro which was more served authentically. My husband ordered the burrito which was served topped with cheese and it was also served with Spanish rice, and guacamole. It was soooooo good. The food was soooo good and I honestly can't wait to go again. Not only was the food good but the customer service was beyond anything I had experienced in a Mexican restaurant before. The staff at this restaurant really know how to treat their customers and make them feel served and at home. By far the best Mexican food restaurant in the Woodlands. I'd definitely recommend this place...
Read morePoor service, clearly poor management and owner as well the way they treat their customers. Ordered through DoorDash an hour ago, well before 9pm closing time, with a 35 minute ETA. We had ordered here before, albeit sub par Tex-Mex food, because it's close to home. Could name off better restaurants easily but we had ordered here once before through DoorDash and it came as expected. This time, however, at 8:52 we get a notification that, again, after waiting an hour, paying and placing our order (because Quesadillas and a Chimichanga are so difficult they should take more than 10 min in the first place) they cancel our order. Charged us the money, yes, but returned it? Not until processing is complete and right back to DoorDash as a credit for $36 and some change, for that matter. So we can't even get it back to the card we used to pay for it. Called this place immediately after we get a text that it was cancelled and, sure enough, they won't even pick up their phone (as a reminder, before 9pm we called). Waited so long for something to be cancelled that now we literally have nothing else open that we can reorder. I've worked in my share of restaurants and have never had one of them cancel someone's order that placed it an hour ago. I guess you must do this to your customers that walk in the door an hour before closing, too. Marking this one off my list. Waste of...
