First, we frequent this location almost weekly and the food is generally great. The service can be hit or miss but we really like it overall. This past Saturday, 6/7th, around 1:36 p.m. I placed an online pick up order. I immediately received the email confirmation w/order number. When I arrived right at 5:30 p.m. they told me that I didn't have an order. I showed the girl in the take out area the email. She then says VERY loudly that your order wasn't placed because your payment was declined. First of all, I used a gift card. Secondly, what a very rude thing to shout out in the packed area as if I could not pay for my food. I simply asked that she place the order again and I would wait. She said "let me get a manager for you". He comes over with an attitude, gets my order and I sat and waited. When I arrived the place was total chaos. A man was there and his food order had been given to another person and the staff thought it was SO funny. The guest did not. Then the young boy gave an elderly man his food and he was upset because the food was cold and he waited over 35 minutes for a pick up order. The kid said "i just bring out the bags". They staff was rude, uncaring. Then I get my order and leave. I get home and open the fajitas and the steak is COLD and not even cooked. I think they did this on purpose. Read moreReview Update: Gringos corporate reached out and offered to try and make this right for us. They gave us a $50 comp card. So, we went back and gave them a second chance. It was a very different experience this time. The wait was kind of long, but it was a Saturday Night, so I expected a good wait. we were greeted within 2 minutes of being sat. Drinks were on the table within 5. Food was great and came out quickly. The server was very attentive. The restaurant was clean, and the ice cream machine was closed up properly this time. I was beyond satisfied and would be happy to visit again. Thank you, Gringos for making the effort and showing us that our first visit was an anomaly.
Original review - Never again! I'm able to take my family out to dinner 3 maybe 4 times a year. This place was terrible. Waited 40 minutes for a table. Ordered drinks and appetizers, then waited 20 minutes for the beer to get there. They brought one of our appetizers and never brought the other. The manager delivered the beer and didn't say a single word to us. Then they brought out half of my food and none of my families. We waited another 20 minutes for our food which finally arrived. Then within 10 minutes of getting our food they are bringing my check and boxes already trying to rush us out. My kids wanted ice cream but we couldn't even enjoy that because the top of the machine was open and the soft serve was exposed to the open air. We waited over 2 hours to get seated in the mean time a table of 32 came in after us and they seated them first even though the hostess told us that we were ahead of them. When I finally spoke to the manager and asked him what is happening he just said I don’t know what happened. I told him that this same location did us the same way on Father’s Day his reply was “oh well that was Father’s Day”. So I asked him what was the reason today and he got argumentative with me especially when I was asking him why they could not get it together at the hostess station for seating. He just replied we have it together and another gentleman standing next to me said no I don’t think that you do. Then when I walked out to the seating area he walk over to my daughter and told that we would have to leave if we didn’t stop asking when we were going to be seated because we can’t be mean to the wait staff. Not one time did I disrespect anyone. He was upset because I told him I’m going to write a review about this incident. Every time we go to this location it’s the same thing. Our waitress was also horrible. Never filled our glasses up and it took over 30 minutes for her to take our order.
