La MichoAuténtica — Restaurant in Texas

What a find!!!! We tried La MichoAuténtica for the first time tonight, along with two other families. We were all VERY impressed! They have so many different flavors of ice cream and fruit bars (like gourmet popsicles). We were greeted by the owner, who told us that he personally makes all of the ice cream and fruit bars. Wow! The hardest part for me was having to decide what flavor of ice cream to get since so many of the choices looked so delicious! They have so many flavors that I have never tried before. Many are flavors of exotic fruits and delicious desserts and candies. I chose the banana pudding ice cream and was not disappointed. I am eager to try the Baileys and Ferrero ice creams in future visits. Everyone in our group loved the fruit bars. Most of our group are originally from the Philippines, and one taste of the mango and tamarind fruit bars brought back memories of the ice pops they had as kids. So many flavors of fruit bars and ice cream, a talented and friendly owner, and fantastic quality and taste will definitely make us frequent regular customers in the future. If you are in the Hwy. 6 area, do yourself a favor and stop in. I'm tempted to keep this a family secret so it doesn't get too crowded, but this place is just too good to keep to ourselves. We all need to support such an amazing local establishment. 5 stars!...

This place is by far the best Ice Cream in the area! I had 1 scoop of the Ferrero and 1 scoop of the Gansito ice creams on a waffle cone and my husband had 1 scoop of the Carmelo and 1 scoop of the Pumpkin Cheese Cake Ice cream on a waffle cone as well. Everything was so delicious you could taste it's authentic homemade qualities. There were several colorful flavors perfect for children. We will be bringing our son here soon.

From their handmade ice creams to their mouth watering fresh fruit creations and incredible desserts, every item on the menu is absolute perfection.
