8/2024 Update: The store was down for nearly 6 months while they tore it down to the ground, and rebuilt it from the ground up. Not sure why they did that, as I thought it was one of the most functional Chick-fil-As around. The good news about this rebuild is that now this Chick-fil-A looks like most Chick-fil-As but on a Sunday. Oh that's right they're closed on Sunday. And this place is vacant. Nobody's coming back! Have you noticed that the new layout is terrible? Subterrable? If you do a mobile order, God forbid, you have to turn your car 180° in about 2 ft. And if you did the mobile order but you go on the regular line they tell you oh you have to be in that line over there. And it really doesn't matter because it all goes down to a single lane anyway. Where your drinks with extra ice have been waiting on a hot table, and now have virtually no ice at all. And the orders are wrong. And the food is just subpar. This is terrible! What were you thinking? This might be the worst review I've ever written for a Chick-fil-A. This used to be our go-to place. Now I'm going to either the one on North Eldridge, or I'm going to the one in Bear Creek on highway 6. Neither one is as good as this one used to be but both are heads above tails on this new store. This can't be the same operator as before. This person may possibly never have run a fast food restaurant before, and was sold a bill of goods. Terrible
12/2024Update: went through near ten pm, but ordered via app. No fries, after wait for sandwich. I'm sure that they would make it right if I could get a hold of anyone. And mailbox full. Corporate suggests just going by. Wonder if they are buying the gasoline? Previous: Forgot the dessert in...
Read moreThe new design of this location is horrible on drivers. You can only enter off of Hwy 6 now, so unless you happen to be traveling north on Hwy 6, you either have to drive down a good distance past it and u-turn around, and come back to it....or you have to pull in behind it, pass by it, and go into the Wendy's parking lot next door. Then you have to exit out onto Hwy 6, then pull into the CFA parking lot. The first time I tried to go inside to eat, I just pulled around behind it and parked in the Wendy's parking lot and walked across to CFA, because it was easier.
Now they only have one drive thru lane that you can place orders at, as opposed to the two they had before. They have added a mobile order only lane though so it might speed up mobile orders but one lane will certainly slow down the in-person drive thru orders.. If you get in mobile lane, you gotta scan a QR code sign to let them know you are there. With the way it's facing, you have to stop before you get to the sign, roll your window down and hang your arm and phone out the window to scan it. It would be a lot better if the QR sign was facing you when you pull up next to it (similar to a drive thru menu).
The old layout was much more customer friendly, and flowed smoother. The amount of trouble it takes to get into the parking lot for anyone not traveling north on Hwy 6, will make me just go somewhere else. This is by far, the worst CFA layout in the area now. I've been going here for 21 years, but will definitely be stopping by a lot less, unless they can make it easier to get into the...
Read moreThis is why I am reporting a one star:
The customer service at this location by MANAGER CAROLINA GALVAN AND ASSOCIATE KIM MATA was appalling to say the least. I went in to get the free breakfast offer. Carolina made a huge deal about my son coming inside from the car. I have NEVER had this trouble or exeperience. But that's not the problem. It was the antagonizing of the BOTH of them. CAROLINA just kept going on and on and being rude. KIM was being just as rude. I had my son come and and made it a point for them to see him after being told by KIM not to worry about it. They created an uncomfortable scene and then it didn't matter. Thats not ok. Neither of the other team leads intervened to help the situation at hand either. As much as I have been at this location, which up until today, was my favorite location, I have never been treated so poorly! Both of these women then made me wait for my order while it set on the counter. Then they debated on who would give it to me all while talking about me. There behavior was very unprofessional and does speak to the values of what Chic-fil-a stand for, or so I thought. After finally receiving my order, I was still antagonized until I left out the door by CAROLINA GALVAN. She just would not stop harassing me after I repeatedly askes her to not address or speak to me anymore. It is really sad to say this is a manager and KIM MATA was alright acting in the same manner. Where is the integrity and supposedly impeccable customer service? I am very...
