Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Texas

My experience at the Aldine Westfield Marcos Pizza was unacceptable. After a very busy day, I ordered a late dinner of cheesy bread and 10 bone-in wings. The first issue was a call from an employee who seemed baffled and apologetic about running out of meat for a sub, which was confusing since I hadn't ordered one. She then said my order was ready. When I picked up my food, I didn't realize until I got outside that they had given me boneless chicken instead of the bone-in wings I ordered. When I brought it to the employee's attention, she said that's why she gave me "5 extra." I told her if I had wanted boneless, I would have ordered them. The manager then questioned her about not being informed that they were out of bone-in wings. The manager told me to keep my receipt and come back the next day for what I paid for. I agreed and left, but the frustration didn't end there. When I got home, I opened the cheesy bread box to find nothing more than oily bread sticks. The cheese was practically non-existent. I'm livid. This is a complete failure on all levels. The employee should have called me to inform me they were out of bone-in wings so I could have chosen to cancel my order. I decided I wanted pizza for lunch today but not a regular, ol chain pizza like the big names. I wanted a good, handmade, authentic pizza from some hole in the wall ristorante. You know what I’m talking about, the kind of pizza with the perfect amount of sauce, extra cheesy, real pepperoni, and so hot you’ll burn the roof of your mouth. Well, I couldn’t find a place like that in my area that would deliver so I decided to try Marcos for the first time. Listen to me when I tell you… my order was delivered within about 30 mins of ordering and it was EXACTLY what I was looking for! Not only did I burn the roof of my mouth but as I ashawahwahzzha’d to cool it down, I also bit my lip. This pizza was soooo good and deliciously cured my craving. One last thing, the delivery driver was super sweet. I didn’t catch his name but he said my dog was cute (bc he is) and said he had a husky of his own. Anyway, it was a no contact delivery but I guess lawn care or something was being done so he knocked instead. Thanks so much for handling that...

Decent pizza, convenient and affordable! I am a huge pizza fan and I have been looking forward to trying Marco's pizza.

I was hoping to compare it to the likes of Brother's pizza, Lasagna house, Adriatic cafe or MOD pizza.

However, I wasn't expecting it to be worse than Domino's and Papa John's.

It's a lot better than Pizza Hut and Cici's pizza, but honestly I would compare it most closely to Little Cesar's pizza.

I will try a few more pies in the future and see if my attitude changes, but for now, I would give it decent reviews for being clean and so near to me.

Edit: upped to 5 stars after having some of their signature pies. It's still a chain pizza place, but it's as good as you can get for that fact.

TL:DR Don't bother with their simple pizza, it's not where they shine. Try their signature pies. Otherwise, go local with Brothers Pizza or...
