Happy Family Chinese Buffet — Restaurant in Texas

Introduction- This is an Asian buffet restaurant with mixed menus of Asian starters, main dishes, Seafoods, Sushis, Soups & Desserts. They serve very good quality Sushi & Soups. I am from CA & I find out they are amazingly cheaper than CA. As both a food lover & an Asian, this is an awesome buffet restaurant for me & my family, where I would come back again & again.

Quality & experience- The food quality is of course good and has authentic tastes. They make their dishes with good quality food items. Keep bringing fresh dishes. The whole place is kept very clean. The waiters are awesome & very attentive. Kudos for them. Also they are very friendly & made our experience better. Our attendant / waiter was amazing & very quick in service. This buffet has plenty of sitting areas divided into different parts. Thr interior is very well decorated with classy art work. I loved the atmosphere while dining with my family during our short visit to Houston. The restaurant has separate restrooms for men & ladies and they are also very well maintained & clean.

Price- The lunch price is $12'49 & Dinner is $15'69 per adult weekdays. Same on the weekends.

For kids age 3 to 6 is $6'99. Age 7 to 10 is 9'99.

Military & Senior has discounts.

Business hours- Their regular business hours are from 11pm to 9pm.

I've eaten here twice recently, and I give this buffet 5 stars for two main reasons: improvement, and variety. I don't know when it happened, but the food and the atmosphere in this place has reached a very good quality. Several years ago (about 7 years? I can't quite remember), some friends took me here, and... it wasn't what it is today. No one ever got sick or anything like that, but it was just kinda okay. My husband and I recently moved into the area, and we wanted to visit a buffet, so we thought we'd give this place another shot. And I'm glad we did! The food is hot, fresh, and varied. They have your standard Chinese buffet classics - fried rice, egg rolls, broccoli chicken, sushi, fruit, etc., but they also have a fair number of things I'm not used to seeing at other places. I'm particularly fond of the fried bananas, which I've never seen at other buffets, and the rice pudding, which I don't see very often elsewhere. Everything I've had here has been full of flavor, with a wide range of flavors to suit different tastes. I would definitely recommend this place to any group who wants to go out to eat together, but has a hard time finding somewhere that has something for everyone. Soft Shell Crab - good flavor, texture is easy to swallow. Shrimp - all shrimp cooked well and delicious! Fish - FRESH tender meat/crunchy outside. Small Shell Clams - Sorry, but lacks flavor. Raw Oysters - Not tried, but kept on ice for safety. Clam Shell - crab cake mixture on a clam shell, a customer favorite!! Pork on a Stick - Tasty and TENDER. Chicken - many varieties. Tasty pan selections! My favorite, HOT! wings... Is extremely TASTETY, just like ordering out! Chicken nuggets are tender, crisp, and tastes really grrr...8! Egg Rolls - crispy outside, moist veg's inside. Pizza - To die for! Tastes as good as at a pizza parlor! No kidding, try it! Fresh Fruits - good, clean selections.
