I was interested to try, but did not order and will not be returning to any Mia’s at any time in the future. The cashier rushed my son through his decisions, interrupting his decision making over, and over, and over. He decided on the fly, having been embarrassed and rushed, at which point she chuckled at him for not knowing what the burger toppings were, and mockingly listed them all one by one, waiting for a response from him to each one, instead of being polite or even showing him where to find the toppings on the menu (which he only chose because he was rushed). She then turned to me and treated me like a small child (I am 44, this was to be a birthday meal for me with my parents and son) repeatedly snapping (literal snapping) and making mocking gestures at me after being asked to stop politely 4-5 times. I left the restaurant and did not order, leaving my young son and parents to eat alone. I feel very embarrassed by having to leave since I didn’t wish to snap back at the cashier in front of my family. She would simply not let up in her mockery, hand gestures, impatience, and arrogance, continuing to insist she was in the right, all the while with a smile and no concern for my request. Not everyone wants to be hurried or play games when ordering, I just needed another minute to think without being pointed and snapped at while she rambled on. 0/100, will not go here or any...
Read moreFirst off let me preface this review by clarifying that I do enjoy the restaurant, but this was my first visit to this location.
I had a trio sampler that had wings, fried pickles, and onion rings. First time having this, the buffalo wings have a decent flavor. Not really sure what kind of dipping sauce was included but it was not very good. The fried pickles we're not anywhere near as good as they are at willie's, and the onion rings were subpar. They almost tasted kind of doughy....
When I place my order, is when I got pissed. As I'm going to sign for the transaction, it asked me how much of a tip I'd like to leave. I don't carry cash so I went ahead and said 15%. I forgot the whole restaurant is self serve, except for the food coming out to you. Why would an establishment with ZERO wait staff expect a tip before even sitting down? I didn't even gwtu drink cups before the front desk person walked away.
I get real tired of these digital POS systems forcing tips on a customer before you even have your meal. Tipping was for wait staff, who made a lower hourly wage to reward good service. Not just because.
Needless to say I will go back but will make sure I have cash, and stick to the meals I know and enjoy there. The meat loaf, the chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak...
Read moreI rated 1 star for Mia’s table on Fry Road location for two reasons. One is they use improper package due to lack of professionalism, and the on duty manager failed to his own promise.
On September 7th, I went there order a to-go dinner. I ordered two dishes of Southern fry chicken. After I paid and took both dishes home, my two sons ate fry chickens. Then all the sudden, my old son asked me “ how happened to the box”, I looked at the box, I noticed form melt because of the heat from fry chicken. I was so upset because melt form could bring adverse impact to human’s health.
I called Mia’s table manager immediately around 6pm on September 7th. The manager told they ran out of carbon box, that is why they used form box. I told him this is improper package. They should use aluminum foil under the hot food. He told me he will remind of his employees. On the other side of phone, I can feel he is reluctant based on his tone. I requested return my 34 dollars, he said he will return but I won’t see it until Friday. But 2 weeks passed by, I still don’t see 34 dollars returned to my credit card. I hate to judge people, but I think he lied.
Pictures are attached as I want future customers know I am here to let you...
