Visited this restaurant yesterday night. We were seated immediately, a female waitress came over and got us started with drinks (non alcohol) and chips/salsa. We waited almost over 15 minutes before male waitress took our order. It wasn’t that many people there so having to wait that long and I was able to read the menu front and back multiple times will cause me to walk out a restaurant and take my $$ elsewhere. I wasn’t happy with my flautas, instead of shredded chicken it was like chucks of dark chicken meat over fried in tortilla, I was only able to barely eat 1 and a half because I picked over it. Now let’s get to what really set my mood off, my daughter and I went to the bathroom, shortly after a female worker comes in and was cleaning the restroom. I was kind enough to make sure my child and I cleaned up behind our self in the stall. When I flushed the toilet it just kept running, before I left out the stall I did try to fix it but it kept running. I was going to let the worker know but not only did she not look approachable but as my daughter and I was washing our hands she went in the stall after us, slamming shut the baby changer (I didn’t open it!) and messing with the toilet handle with an attitude. She came out the stall literally saw me trying to use the paper towel machine and instead of helping she snatched the roll of trash bags from the counter, the trash bag off the floor and went out to the men’s bathroom. Kindness goes a long way! Id be wrong if I recorded her and reported it to corporate. I’ll never step foot in this restaurant again. Lupe Tortilla and other Mexican food spots in the area...
Read moreI normally never leave bad reviews because it can be rude or negatively impact an honest business, but I felt as though this one was deserved. This is what I get for cheating on my normal mexican restaurant by wanting to try something new. Over the course of our meal, we had 3 different servers, who each got something wrong. When they took our order they didn't write it down, came back after 5 minutes asking what we ordered, and then after 15-20 minute brought us out the wrong food. While my family ate I waited for the restaurant to bring back the correct dish. When it came the avocado was black and rotten, and the meat inside was cold. The only redeeming factor was that the waitress was kind, but overall it was one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. There were additional items wrong but I think this is enough. Again, I don't mean to be dramatic or rude but it was really just that bad. I would recommend La Maria, Lupe Tortilla, Los Cucos, or 5 other mexican restaurants before this one. Instead of causing a fit in restaurant, I left a nice tip and decided to share how I felt to the public. I feel as though this restaurant deserved to be on Gordon Ramsey's...
Read moreIt was our first time eating here! We’re a family of 8 all on our own but we showed up with my parents and grandmother totaling 11 people and we were seated immediately! Service was fast, quick and reliable! Although there were more patrons in the restaurant it felt like we were waited on promptly and without hesitation! Drinks were refilled immediately, fresh chips brought out each time we finished a basket, and the margarita was brought out before the other drinks. Haha just sayin- I can appreciate that! Food was pretty good! We had fajitas, quesadillas and an enchilada along with other things my parents ordered. I’d order it all again as it was pretty yummy. The only complaint on food is their tortillas, although decent, they weren’t that great. Warm and soft, but flavor and texture was slightly different than I’m used to. The whole experience was great and it beats waiting at Gringos for an hour for a table! We will definitely be back! The only thing I didn’t love about the atmosphere was how dark it was inside. I’m all about mood setting - it just seemed a little darker than it should have been. But not a reason to keep me away! Will be...
