Showed up Friday night at about 145am Place was actually pretty packed,They are next to the dance club they were really busy the mariachi was playing, all looked great. We find a table and sat we waited about 10 min before the waitress showed up. Ordered red enchiladas since that was about the only vegetarian meal available. Ordered an iced tea. We did get the chips and salsa after placing our order not sure if that’s what they do there but usually we get them first while we wait for the waiter. The iced tea was extremely light pretty much water. Asked the waitress for a more spicy salsa for the chips and she said “no hay” in Spanish which meant we don’t have anymore we are out. I said oh ok well more of the same salsa and more chips please as we were almost out. She brought out the salsa. And it was kind of funny all we had was crumbs left of the chips so we were scooping. Salsa with little tiny chips. Finally about 5 min later she brought out chips. I then asked her for a coke instead since tea was not good. She said ok she never apologized or show concern. So then we get our food and my enchiladas are green not red. So I kindly asked did I ask for red or green? She said you wanted red and she said oh they gave you green?!?!?!? She then just stared again no apologies or concern whatsoever, awkward silence happening so than my wife said tell her to have them changed. She than said you want me to have them make you red ones? I went ahead and told her just leave it by the time I get them it will be long again. She just looked and then walked away!!! That young lady definitely does not have a clue of what customer service is all about. We came from work so we were not drunk like half the people there since they had just left the dance club. The quality of the food has definitely taken a nose dive. This used to be one of my fav spots but when I went in today I was highly disappointed. I went through the drive thru. When I ordered a torta I asked for the avocado and sour cream to be on the side, the lady repeatedly kept telling me that it was only two slices of avocado and one tablespoon of sour cream as if she didn't think it was necessary to put it on the side because it's such a small amount. Everytime I would repeat myself "but please put it on the side". I also ordered the taco plate, some of the tortillas were stiff and the meat wasn't evenly distributed as some of my tacos had an acceptable amount of meat and some hardly had any. Also, the fajita lacked flavor. The picture on the menu shows that the plate includes a chile toreado but they actually don't include it and charge you extra for it if you want it. I ordered the taco plate and a torta but they only gave me two 1oz cup of salsa, one green and one red. I suggest to make sure that your order is complete when using the drive thru because I had to go back when I realized that I was missing the taco plate. The charro beans were good. Whoever made the beans gets a 5 star from me. Otherwise, save your money and go somewhere else. I won't be going back. My family and I have been coming to this establishment for a very long time. Even before COVID. I recommend going to eat in the morning because that was mainly when we would go and we never had any major issues. However there have been the occasional we messed up your order but they fix it right away. The manager in the morning time/shift is very friendly, relaxed person that works hard to make everything run smoothly. The waitress have been very nice and helpful too, throughout the years some have left and some have stayed nevertheless they are all very helpful. Last time we visited was about 3 weeks ago I believe and still I am amazed at the service. Usually Saturday and Sunday mornings this place is packed but everything runs smooth.
