Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Texas

I ordered a pizza for delivery, and I was standing by the door and watching the camera from my phone anticipating the delivery driver, the driver then walked to the front door, and thought about knocking hesitantly and then sat the pizza and wings down, and turned around an began to walk off. I was so shocked that he didn’t at least knock. I immediately opened the door and said, that you could have knocked, and he came back and said, “I did”. I told him if I show that you didn’t from my camera that recorded you, will you still say you didn’t? I told him I was standing right by the door. Then he said again he did knocked, then walked off. I took the pizza a wings in, and honestly I love cheese and pizza and I be wanting really that cheese pull, so I had extra cheese with light toppings, but when I grabbed a slice it wasn’t even hot. The cheese on top was like warm and almost cold, the cheese was hard and stiff. With all the extra cheese and the toppings and 8 wings the total was $54 and because I reached my spending amount only I had a $10 off coupon I used. Either way it goes, I still loss money, I didn’t have a quality pizza and I had poor service from the driver. I reported this issue August 1st 2024 at 8:27 pm to Managment right after this incident happened. I Love Papa John's Pizza, I have no problem with my orders what I have been placing online. My biggest problem was a few weeks ago after the Super Bowl ended. I went within the store to please my order. there was a young lady at the cash register was on the phone who claim she was the manager not sure if it was talking business or personal that was not my concern. I was waiting for almost 15 to 20 minutes to place my order with the young lady which she didn’t even show any Customer Service to say I’ll be with you within a few. if she did show the appreciation of me being standing right in front of her I would’ve understood. Within the workstation area there were two white young male having a conversation with each other. They both didn't even try to help to take my order as well. Due to this poor customer service and the way they make me feel as if I wasn't a customer within the store. I have to leave the store without getting to place my order and I have Limited time to return to work this was my worst experience with Papa John...

This Papa johns has always been a favorite place of mine and to not credit them for at least trying would not be fair, the food is always good, maybe rarely a bit cold but pizza is just as good cold especially when it's Papa Johns. Now my only complaint is delivery, I understand things get busy and sometimes in the rush it's difficult to get food where it needs to go, but when the store is only a mile drive away and it quite literally should only take 2 or 3 minutes to deliver the items ordered. There is a time estimate accompanied with the order when it leaves and frequently I don't get my items I ordered in that time frame, which gives ample time for delivery. In this case the food was delivered 15 minutes late and the complimentary sauce was busted inside the box. I contacted the manager and he was incredibly courteous and polite even going as far to give us a complimentary pizza. I will continue to order from this location, I just hope the delivery service picks...
