Ruby's Taqueria (indoor location) — Restaurant in Texas

I really love this place. The food is season very well, but the service is extremely poor . There is a lady with red curly hair who barely speaks English, but being rude is it international language and she was very rude. She acted as if she didn’t understand what I was even when, pointing at me and you I also had a customer translate for me, and she still acting as if she didn’t know what he was saying, and he was speaking Spanish. When my order was ready, I think she called me in Spanish, which I don’t understand. So I did not know she was speaking to me, so she started yelling and when I approach to get my food, she rolled her eyes and walked away. I hate to bring race into it but by reading some of the other reviews i do feel as if it was because of my race . I will never patronize this...

This is a 24 hour restaurant and it was my first time visiting. It was late, around 11pm. When I entered the restaurant I had to wait quite long to get the attention of someone. The language barrier was heavy but I usually use Google Translate so I really don’t know why the lady was acting like she didn’t understand what I was saying. So I pointed to a picture they had on the counter and she didn’t even want to come around and look at what I was pointing at which was rude. I just got a Jamaica drink, paid and left. The food is very delicious here, others drive very far to eat here. The only problem is no one's really there to greet you there's only one person cooking and doing the cashier work or the most two employees. I think the presentation of the restaurant is a little cluttered there should be menus with pictures. But again the food is very good they even have aguas frescas. The tamale was a little dry maybe because I went late at night. Other than that my favorite is a torta with the heater chorizo ham lettuce tomatoes and avocado and tacos de chicharron.
