I came in with my Children on Sunday we had a simple just about about three sandwiches and a couple chips. The kid who was in new hire was taking his time and doing it his best ability I wasn’t in a rush I was planning to dine in. Something had gone out of stock. then I hear the manager yell the kid at such a tone it shocked me , she’s a little short hispanic lady with difficulty english. the new hire is Obviously flustered and goes to refill the missing thing. then, as he’s taking his time to neatly make my sandwich The manager comes again, insulting him, calling him, deaf and many other things because he pressed something wrong on the toaster , the kid apologizing to me then reveals to me it’s barely his second day. He then neatly did my sandwich asking me if the portions he layed out where to my liking and making sure my sandwich was what i wanted. he did perfectly then as he finishes wrapping my sandwich, which looked just fine he forgot that i was going to dine in . so there comes the old lady scolding him and slamming a basket and putting my sandwich there for me to sit and eat. He looked at me and softy apologized, i felt awful. As I sat down to eat, I realized I'd seen something messed up. The manager was completely unprofessional, and the employee was visibly shaken. Read moreThis review is based on what I have witnessed over the last few months patronizing this location. Honestly the workers themselves appear very nice, but unfortunately this location is constantly under staffed. Each time I come, there is a wait time of at least 30 mins, constant online orders and even UberEats drivers waiting for orders placed over 1 hr prior and order still not completed. The workers are rushed and don’t change gloves between sandwiches, touching the machines, and even touching the dirty hats on their heads to come back and them make another sandwich with it. Running out of condiments before even the 5pm wave of customers. This review is honestly a reflection of poor management. You constantly have 2 people to manage the in person orders and the online orders which constantly puts a strain on your staff to make sloppy rushed sandwiches. The owner must do better.. unsanitary conditions is my breaking point. Too many other sandwich joints in the same price point in the same area, to do such foolishness. Will take my business to potbellys’, jersey mikes, jimmy John’s, Jason’s deli and others who staff appropriately, provide quality and don’t run the risk of getting paying customers sick. Read moreI ordered ahead 2 hours to pick my order up at 610p and I got there at 610 after getting an email at 555p saying my order was being prepared.
I got there at 610 and only then did Charlene begin. She took approximately 15 minutes to make 4 sandwiches - 3 which involved no vegetables. One sandwich she had to do over because when she went to add the pepper, the entire lid came off and dumped all the pepper on it.
Even knowing that I was sitting right in front of her waiting for my order, at no time did she move with a sense of urgency (in contrast, her coworker began and ended THREE orders within the same time). Charlene took her time, at times LEANING on the bread with her hands while TOSSING cheese and meats back in the containers. She was sloppy both in appearance and how she handled and prepared the food.
I NEVER write reviews, certainly not to complain about a specific person. But we are no longer coming to this location because this is the 4th time in a row we've had substandard service.
