My friend and I are foodies and she saw the TikTok of this place and wanted to see what the hype was about. So we arrive and walked up there is a check in booth outside at the booth is a young male teen around 13-14 years old so we asked if that is where we check in at, well it was like we were talking to ourselves because he didn’t answer, we then asked another young lady that didn’t answer as well by this time I walk inside to see if I could get some help leaving my friend outside. Inside was crowded and wasn’t much better with finding help at this point I’m ready to tell my friend let’s go because he was Houston hot outside and it seemed that only select people were allowed to sit inside, but when I walked back out she finally had someone helping her so we were seated. The same lady that sat us brought out some chips and salsa. After a few moments our waiter came took our drink order and informed us it’s best to put our food order in asap because the kitchen easily backs up. We took her advice and ordered dishes she recommended. While waiting for our food a group of females that arrived together so it was assumed they were friends started yelling at each other in a full argument not one of the staff members addressed the situation or at the least told these ladies they need to keep it down as it was a huge disruption that didn’t happen once but twice. Next a party of two girls were seated on the side of the building not in my visible view so it wasn’t until they left abruptly and started burning rubber in the parking lot yelling and flipping their fingers at someone still sitting on the side of the building did we find out that it was another separate confrontation again staff said absolutely nothing. At this point I’m fearing for my safety. And last the drink was extremely good, however the food was extremely basic and flavorless. I was so disappointed with my experience...
Read moreMy second visit to the newly opened Drunk Taco, and it's quickly become my favorite spot. Stepping inside is like entering a whimsical dream – a playful pink palette dominates the décor, with roses everywhere, creating a truly unique and inviting atmosphere. The seating is communal and cozy, perfect for sharing a meal and making new friends.
The magic happens when you get to the food and drinks. Drunk Taco is cleverly split in half. On one side, you'll find culinary perfection: mouthwatering tacos served on fresh, handmade tortillas. And if you're a breakfast person, they offer several varieties of breakfast tacos, each bursting with flavor and the perfect way to start your day. Don't miss their amazing chilaquiles, served with two perfectly cooked eggs. They also offer other Mexican staples like crispy flautas, cheesy enchiladas, and even a fantastic Mexican burger with fries. Every bite is bursting with flavor, and you can tell they use only the freshest ingredients.
On the other side, Mely's Bar is a haven for beverage lovers. Start your day with their expertly crafted coffees and lattes, or come after noon for their creative and refreshing cocktails. The menu is diverse and exciting, offering something for everyone.
What truly sets Drunk Taco apart is the exceptional service. Every member of the staff greets you with a genuine smile and goes above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic experience. They're friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do.

Read moreOverall, everything was good. The street corn lacked flavor. The trio dipper was good, especially the beans, but for a party of 7, we needed extra chips. The drinks (Jamaica and lemonade) were good, but the kids felt they needed more sugar, although as an adult they were fine for me. I asked for plain, black iced coffee…had a burnt taste, but I’m sure it could be make with sweeteners and creams. The potato and egg breakfast taco comes with Owens/Jimmy dean type breakfast sausage. That and potato with chorizo tacos were good. My son enjoyed the ham croissant sandwich, but my other son who tasted it felt it was plain. My daughter ordered pancakes which were not on the menu. Luckily, they were able to serve them. Those were exceptional, with homemade, fluffy, buttery flavor. My husband and I had the drunk migas. They were tasty, but we felt too much tortilla, little egg. The barbacoa tacos were good, had an almost birria type taste, which I do not prefer. I enjoyed the Paloma, not too sweet, and cute for pictures. The churros had cream inside, came with 6, everyone enjoyed. The service was a bit slow, but the place was full. We arrived at 11am, luckily there was a table available immediately, and left by 12:20pm. Bill came out to $123 for 7 people. Not bad. Would like to return for lunch/dinner....
