Tikiman Shave Ice & Treats — Restaurant in Friendswood

I have gotten treats from here 4 different times. I wanted to like them because they’re so close to home. However, they have no flavor to their snow cones. They look fantastic just no flavor. I got banana, usually a very sweet strong flavor and couldn’t even taste it, and there was plenty of juice! I also got one that I really hated and when I went back to get another flavor, they never even offered to replace it for free!! The cream topping they say is their specialty, is horrible. It tastes like glue. I also think they are over priced. And they are not the most friendly people. I won’t be going...

I’ve tried this place 4 times. It’s not bad but it’s not great. Snow cones, flavors are hit or miss, ice sticks so sometimes it falls apart over your. Though they have gotten better about adding enough syrup. FYI, the cream that is extra is just condensed milk from a can, not actual milk cream so as soon as it added to the snow cone it starts to thicken instead of seeping into the ice. It’s one of those places that is convenient to stop at so every time my kid suggests as we are driving by I stop but there’s other snow cone places nearby that are...

I usually travel from Delaware to Texas. Why this isn’t the real water ice I know back home, it’s still pretty tasty. I was excited to see the truck yesterday when I drove home from the airport. I stopped and ordered 3 water ice’s for ME (because I deserve it), and while eating basically almost to the bottom I found a dead bug. I would like to hope this is an ant but the way the manager asked if “I’m sure” about what kind of bug it is, makes me think this has happened before.
