My family and I have been loyal customers, frequently visiting to enjoy your amazing açai bowls. However, after our last visit, we are reconsidering returning due to the way we were treated.
I arrived at the store around 8:30 PM and purchased several items, spending approximately $50. While ordering, I inquired about an item that was sold out and was informed it would be available the next day. I had no issue with this and ordered something else instead. After completing my purchase, I sat in the cafe tables waiting for my food.
A few minutes after we received our food and began eating, a young lady approached me and stated, “We are closed.” I asked for clarification, “Are you asking me to leave?” to which she replied, “Yes.” I was surprised by this response, as the posted store hours indicate that closing time is 9:00 PM. When I asked if I could have a few more minutes, she used a microphone to communicate with someone, and I could hear the other person laughing before she returned and firmly stated, “Yes, you need to leave. It’s closed.”
At this point, I pointed out that the sign on the door clearly stated closing time was 9:00 PM, and if they were enforcing an earlier closing time, it should be properly communicated to customers. Another employee then stated that the store actually closes at 8:50 PM, but when I pointed out that this was not reflected on the sign, he and his coworkers laughed at my family and me, which felt extremely disrespectful and unprofessional.
I understand that businesses have closing procedures, but the way this situation was handled was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. Had the staff politely informed us that they were closing soon, we would have had no issue leaving promptly. Instead, we were met with disrespectful laughter and a lack of courtesy, making us feel completely unvalued as customers.

But I went on Tuesday of this week and it was awful - my wrap was burned and hard and hardly any chicken and the lettuce was soggy and disgusting. But I figured it was just an off day, so we tried them again today. And it was awful again. We ordered ahead and nothing was ready when we went to pick it up. There was no acknowledgment when we walked in - eye contact was made several times but no greeting or offer to help. When we mentioned that it was taking a long time to get the order - we were told that we had no idea how it was working for a stressful working place and being short staffed. First that's not true - but second, that should never be said to a customer. Then the manager was yelling at another customer. They left out a jalapeño corn and when it was mentioned it was thrown at us and corn went everywhere. And then when we got back to our office - we were missing an order. We called corporate about this and were offered $10 - we spent around $80 on Tuesday and again today. And the whole thing is we don't want money - we want good service like we had the first 2 times we went. The food and smoothies were soo good. But with the poor management and disappointing food 2 times in a row, I don't know that we will be back. And that's alot of business you were getting that is now lost. No one responded so then I parked and tried to go in as I was getting out the car a staff locked the door so I couldn’t come in so then I went back to the drive-thru window and was successful with placing my order.
