7Spice — Restaurant in Texas

I won’t be coming back to this location. Upon arriving I stood at the front for maybe 2 minutes while 6 or 7 staff members were in the back cracking jokes and looking at me without acknowledging me. As I was about to walk out the door the cashier came out and took my order. I should have just kept walking out the door but decided to stay. I ordered the crawfish because I had them years ago and remembered them being pretty good. I haven’t seen reviews for this season yet so I thought I should give them a try Well today they were mediocre, frozen at best. They smelled fishy, looked, and tasted as if they were just boiled in plain water with a pinch of minced garlic. I asked for 7spice sauce which mine appeared to have little to no sauce on them. I don’t like wasting money, especially since crawfish are so expensive this season so I decided to eat them; however, midway I heard someone say “Bro, she still eating them.” Then they started laughing. So at that point I was concerned they did something to my food so I trashed about 1.25lbs out of 2 lbs. I won’t ever return to this location and I advise you hire more mature people that are more inviting and actually do their job instead of cracking jokes majority of the shift. I don’t recommend the crawfish but I can’t speak on any other food options.

The crawfish are also kind of small. I’ve been to other places that are bigger. Big city wings has decent crawfish that are big so maybe consider them before...

The owner or manager needs to do something about this lady, I live close by so I come here often and she always has an attitude, not only me, my neighbors that come here also had told me the same thing about her! One occasion I came to pick up my food, I politely asked if my order was ready, she ignored me like I was invisible. I kept trying to get her attention and just plain ignored me while I was right in front of her then rolled her eyes once another employee came to help me! Today, I came to dine in with my kids, after we were done, I told my kids to clean up after themselves and throw it in the trash can! As we always do when we eat out! Again this lady came to our table and told us to clean up and throw the trash in the trash can… for one we were already doing that, second that’s rude and not professional to talk to customers like that! So i normally dont think twice where to go get my seafood boils from which is normally lotus when crawfish season is over I stay there ever week lol. I have a friend who swear by 7 spice and always be trying get me to switch....so finally I took a leap to order from 7 spice .....yall i swear i fell in love I order the duo delight boil garlic butter spicy with all potatoes. I added I boil egg and aide white rice please dont forget your extra juice (seasoning water). Plus yall cant forget the 7 spice butter i got myself two if em. Im telling yall this the spot now love the staff alex be on point with it yall and owner madd koo. Mann 2nd weekend in the row no lie. Its a must now for me.
