Disappointed is an understatement. My friends and family planned my birthday dinner at Uncle Julio’s, we had never had a poor experience there before. They decided the night of my birthday to completely tank the service, the food and every aspect of the dining experience. We kicked off the evening with drinks, margaritas were decent, but it went south when the waiter dropped a completely full coke on my 7 year old. We helped clean up, and the wait staff offered us a towel, my daughter was covered in coke and sticky. The manager gave us a t-shirt for her. After cleaning up we then sat and waited and kept waiting. About 20 mins after the coke spill we still couldn’t find our waiter. We requested a new waiter. The spill was an accident, no one was mad or rude, but the lack of service was unnecessary. We got another waiter, she took our orders. At this point we were there for 45 mins. We had not been offered a drink refill and we were still waiting for our food. Fast forward an hour and 15 mins later they brought our meals out. My fajitas were not sizzling, they were cold. 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ My husband ordered spicy shrimp Street tacos and got fish tacos, my daughter ordered ground beef tacos with no cheese, they came out with cheese, my mom ordered enchiladas without chili con queso, it came out with it. My other daughter just didn’t get her meal. We had to track the waitress down to tell her, no one cared that they shorted us an entire meal. Every meal was cold. It had been sitting on the line in the kitchen. Don’t have open concept commercial kitchens if you plan on letting peoples meals sit for 30 mins. After we ate some cold food we finally were able to order a refill, it was now an hour and a half into our meal and we had not been offered a refill once. We are then talked to the manager, it was my friend not me. I generally don’t call the manager despite my name. The bills were screwed up and there was another 15 mins of fixing those. Meanwhile I’m sitting at a table in a restaurant on my birthday and just for irony someone else was getting the birthday song sung to them and some dessert. After the manager fixed our bills and had only what I could describe as piss poor service not one of the waiters or staff could even say, hey I’m so sorry we screwed up your birthday dinner. We should have had that meal for free, every part of the experience flat out sucked. This had been one of my favorite restaurants, I won’t step foot into one again. Pictures of some of our food is in this review. The happy birthday dessert is what I could have gotten if the staff had even tried to not ruin my birthday. I can’t give negative or 0 stars… but I would if I could.

Its with great sadness that I have to write this review. I order from them weekly sometimes twice a week and its usually the Beef Fajitas for 4 with bacon wrap shrimp, They really give you a Huge spread with this, this Saturday we had company and I placed my order, after picking it up and getting it home we were quite disappointed, the beef was so well done it was not fit for dog food, this is the third picture of the large pile of fajitas, Now, did I mention we had dinner guests? So we had to do something different for dinner after discovering the condition of the food. So Sunday I take the large platter of over cooked uneaten fajitas up to the restaurant and ask to see a manager, after waiting about 15 mins I decide to have a Blackberry Margarita (amazing) while sitting there I asked the Bartender what to do about the predicament of the Fajitas, she says not a problem I will take care of it so I say great but instead of the fajitas for 4 with bacon wrap shrimp (130 ish dollars) I say hey its just for my wife and myself tonight just give me the Filet Mignon Fajitas for Two a 60ish dollar dish, Bartender ask how would I like it prepared, I inform her Rare. Food comes out I finish drink and go home and note on the way out the door that the bag felt a bit on the light side. I unpack the bag at home and can not believe what I'm seeing! They have now down graded me from Fajitas for 4 to Filet Mignon Fajitas for 1 a 30ish dollar dish and if that's not bad enough the meat is well done 50% on one side and rare on the other. Seriously Disappointed!

I wanted to like this place. Went in around 1PM on a Monday. Waited a long time for the hostess to “wipe off a booth”, when we saw several booths available. Sat down, ordered our drinks, appetizer, and food all at once because we had already scoped out the menu. I’ll give our waiter the benefit of the doubt, because I know restaurants are hurting right now with staff-but he forgot almost everything we told him we wanted. When our entree arrived, I asked him about our appetizer and told him that we no longer needed it since our meal had arrived. He said no problem, then a few moments later emerged with our appetizer saying “it was on him, but shrimp takes a while”….the fajitas we ordered included shrimp and came out before our shrimp appetizer so that excuse was unneeded and silly. We had already waited longer than we should have for the food, they clearly dropped the ball. The service was slow, food was bland, the fajita meat was rubbery and could use some better presentation coming from such a nice restaurant atmosphere. Maybe we just caught them on an off day, but I had higher hopes for this place.

My family and I went there for dinner, there were seven of us, on a Thursday night. We were seated promptly however it took awhile for anyone to come to the table to get our drinks. We then ordered drinks my husband order a "beer-rita" the server told him no problem then 10minutes later came back and said we don't do beer-ritas like other restaurants do, we will have to give you a margarita and a beer, so he was given to separate drinks. No problem he just mixed in the beer into the margarita but kinda weird as every other Mexican restaurant has them. We were seated at our table with no silver ware and no straws. We asked our server three times for these items as well as another server that we flagged down and still did not receive them. After about 15-20 min sitting there they finally brought them. My sister asked for lemon for her ice tea and had to ask three times for this before it was brought. We had to repeatedly ask for chips to be filled. We ordered our food. About 15-20 minutes after ordering our food my niece was told they were out of her tacos and she would have to pick another entree. Not sure why it took 15-20min to figure that out. She then just asked for a small chicken soft taco. Five minutes later they brought her a small hard shell taco. About Five minutes after that are food was brought out, which was about 45mintues after we ordered. I had order chicken quesadillas, they placed beef steak quesadillas in front of me and proceeded to serve the rest of our table with the wrong food order. We brought it to their attention. They took the quesadillas from the table which had been sitting in front of me. They proceeded to serve those same quesadillas to another table of guests, which I believe is not sanitary especially with all the respiratory issues going around these days. We waited another 10 minutes and still our food did not arrive. We asked to speak to the Manager, as now we had been at the establishment for about an hour with no food and no idea of when it would come. The Manager was apologetic but had excuses that they were busy because they had large tables arrive. At that point it upset me even more because if they did not have the staff to serve tables then the restaurant should have been on a wait list to sit customers. Every customer whether it be a two top, seven top or 15 top deserves good customer service and a meal as ordered especially for the high prices they charge at this restaurant. The manager did compensate our drinks and queso we had ordered. We left hungry, picking up fast food on the way home. Reading other reviews it appears this is a common trend for this Uncle Julio's. This was my first time coming here and it will be my last. I will not recommend this location or...

We came here for my mom’s birthday on a Sunday afternoon. It was our first time ever trying out this restaurant. The food and atmosphere were amazing. I had the shrimp tacos and I was very impressed with the portions, and the shrimp was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The ambiance of the restaurant is spot on, and I like that you can watch your tortillas being made fresh. Our server on the other hand, was HORRIBLE. I don’t know if she was just crabby or overwhelmed, but there’s not one good thing I have to say about the service. She was rude, not one single smile, and acted like we were ruining her day just being there. She made us shout across the table to give our food orders, refusing to move herself around the table like a good server would. She never came back to the table to ask if we needed anything or wanted refills, we had to flag her down ourselves for that. She forgot about our drinks at the bar, and when we asked her for them, she brought them to us with melted ice and condensation dripping off the glass, which means they were waiting at the bar for a while. We waited 40 minutes after ordering our food when WE had to ask her about our food. She mumbled a “oh shoot!” And hurried back to the kitchen when our food miraculously was ready. We didn’t see her at all after that except when she brought the check. And she said nothing, no “thank you” or “come back soon” or anything. And even more disappointing, the manager was walking around and not once did he come by to ask how we were doing, even though I made eye contact with him several times, and we were clearly agitated by being forgotten about. Overall, we’d probably come back but in high hopes of getting...
