My husband and I have seen this place a few times and decided to stop by for lunch. We both ordered the barbacoa combo. The meat is not authentic barbacoa (beef cheek and maybe tongue) but regular roast. I appreciate the portion was more than you normally get with street tacos. However, the meat was dry, tough and lacked flavor. No amount of lime or salsa could fix it. The rice and beans had flavor. The rice was a bit hard. As someone whose eaten tacos all her life you can really taste the quality of the meat, and it's low quality. That being said they give you a lot of meat, which I can appreciate.    Read moreWe had carne asada tacos and al pastor. The tacos were great. Meat had great flavor. Tortillas were yummy. And salsas were good (and theyâre happy to give you more if you ask)
Plate without drink was $9.99. Extra $1 for a can of soda. HOWEVER, theyâre getting 4 stars because the rice and beans were very very bland. Next time I will order the tacos without rice and beans.
The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The restaurant was clean. Great local place for tacos if you donât feel like driving south...
