Most of the reviews on here are talking about the local Farmer's Market. They have their stuff set up in this park from mid spring to early October. The farmer's market is great and the park is set up really well to handle the different vendors. When the market is not there the playground is pretty so-so. The play equipment is good for toddlers and young children. There are several stone and metal benches around the play equipment and well paved and maintained sidewalk paths around it. It's a nice accessible park. There's a big grassy area, decent bathrooms, and a very very cute rose garden. I like this park a lot, the kids and I used to spend a lot of time here. The city also does some cool events here for holidays and...

Read moreWent to the farmers market. They are matching 10 SNAP with 10 in produce cards Plus 10 in tokens. It's a great deal, lots of great stuff like farm eggs, farm raised meat, and tons of fruit and vegetables. Homemade fudge and fresh baked bread. Happy with everything I got. Only downside, they only had coffee available to drink and no snack stuff because of covid19. Totally understand but a couple could drinks (could be easily done in kidded to go containers so there isn't really a risk of gathering and refilling and such.) would have been great it usually gets hot while you...
