I am a franchisee in the greater houston area of another business and I stopped by tonight to pick up a smoothie for my children on our way home. I was warmly greeted and well taken care of. I am writing you because during my visit a gentleman walked in the building without a mask. Without hesitation one of your Rebecaa associates informed the guest politely that they need to have a mask. This customer shot back at your staff that they had a health condition and continue to proceed towards the counter. The lovely ladies apologized and said it’s company policy we’d be happy to take your order and if you’d like to wait outside they could bring the order to him. Needless to say he was extremely difficult and began to Mouth off. I then stepped in to explain that I am a business owner myself and that these rules are in place for good reason, and that as a business and employee of the businesses they are doing the right thing. I continued on his rant. I reiterated to him that they were happy to take his order but to bring the order to him, which in my opinion is ultimate customer service but he wouldn’t hear it. I exclaimed that we as a Franchisee owner, as a business could be fined a lot of money and these ladies as employees could ultimately loose their job. Again, he didn't want to hear it. I stepped back and offered for him to go ahead of me so that way he could get out of the store quicker and he refused that, mouth off again and proceeded to leave. I reiterated again these are the rules placed upon us for safety and he then blurted for me to shut up. My husband was out front and not too happy when I shared what had happened. I apologized to Rebecaa and Rebecaa and told the ladies they did a wonderful job. I told them that we deal with it too and that they shouldn’t be bothered by the negative interaction, they did the right thing and I would have been very...
Read moreNormally I love Smoothie King. Typically I pop in one three times a week or more to get a strawberry Hulk after training, to get some extra calories in, or if I don't have time to sit down and eat. Now, I don't know if different locations have different recipes for shakes, or if perhaps they don't all buy the same ingredients. Regardless, of the nearly half dozen times that I have ordered the Hulk from this location, it has tasted nothing like what I get from other locations. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it tastes terrible as this last time I legitimately took one sip of the smoothie then promptly threw it away -- deciding not to come back to this location. The reason I've given this location so many tries is because all other locations close by the time I'm done with training, and I figured maybe different employees make it slightly differently. I guess I'll be making my own shakes after training from now on and going to other locations...
Read moreI didn’t catch the name of the young lady who was working February 21, 2025 close to closing time but I feel like I was discriminated against in a way. Immediately walking in , I felt an unpleasant vibe , Thought it was maybe just me and disregarded. I placed my order and waited patiently, I want to say that 3 minutes later, another man walks in and places his order, hus drink order was more complex than mine and he got a larger size, she begun working on his right away while I sat there confused as to why this guy who came 3 minutes AFTER me and placed his order 3 minutes AFTER me received his first and not me. I ended up being there for 10 minutes while he was in and out. Still, I am wondering if The reason he was put on a priority list was because of the color of his skin (white). I thought that it was very unprofessional and left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Will not be back to this smoothie king, I have never felt more...
