The Container Store — Local services in The Woodlands

If possible, I will not patronize this store ever again due to being racially profiled today. I am so sick and tired of racism in this country. When I initially came into the store, an older white blonde female asked me if I needed assistance. I stated that I didn't because I was just browsing. Now, she sounded really helpful and courteous at first, right. Then a few minutes later she found me on the other side of the store and ask if I needed help again. My reply this time was simply "No" because I was irritated that she had been following me around the store for some time as if I was going to steal something. Why didn't you ask your other white customers if they needed help? As a matter of fact one of the customers had to come ask this person for help while she was busy following me around. The Container Store is a great place to shop for teachers like myself. Therefore, I put all of my items back and walked out. I refuse to give my money to a company with racist employees....

This place is not for us!! I paid for a 4,000 closet with MEME and was treated with a nasty condescending stereotypical when I came to pick up my install, I told Me that I could not pick it up till Thursday but a sales guy calls me on the phone ask me nasty when u coming to pick up your stuff? When I got there it look like nothing I designed n when I told the sales guy I dont like it it has open shelves he tells that's all my budget can afford, I told he he don't know what I can afford n just give me my money back, he tells me he has to get approval from manager, manager come over with this scowl on his face like I smell asking why I told him manly because of the sales guy attitude he twisted his lips at me n said u can have your money back n I said give it back. Didn't feel appreciated as a cu stomer n if u blk u will not be valued in this store. I was warned by others not to go to this store in the Woodlands because they are prejudice....

The Container Store is located on Mall Ring Road in The Woodland Mall parking lot. I love the container store! The storage ideas you can get here are amazing. The under bed storage box selections are many. The only downside here is the price on some of their items. They rarely have a sale. They have small travel containers for liquids or face creams, lotions, spray bottles that are truly non-leak. Kitchen storage items and office storage. They do have a closet organizer specialist there to help you plan your closet and to help you order your items. The checkout process here is usually very slow. Lately they have a rotating staff with a scanner that can scan your items and let you pay in line if you are using a card. That helps speed the line a bit. At least they are trying to improve the process. Everyone here is very helpful. The order online and pickup service is flawless. I use it often for Zero Odor...
