Aggregous experience last night! After waiting over 30 minutes for our orders, Brian (the only employee assisting customers) announces that he is tired and done 🤯 and would be refunding all of us for our incomplete orders. This occurred after he spent a significant amount of time cleaning the prep areas instead of working on our orders. There was also another employee in the back (Trevelle) that saw him struggling and didn't even offer to assist 🙄. At one point a woman asked for a cup of water - while he was returning our money, and he said no - I'm too tired to do that 💀 and she had a young son who was eating an acai bowl. I even asked him if I could have the half made acai bowl he had started and he said - no because you were kind of rude 🤯. I'm laughing thinking about the experience and his blatant disrespectful attitude only to call me rude 🤔. David - its not rude to calmly - in a non threatening tone and voice, ask critical questions like why isn't the other worker helping you, why did you serve other people who came in after us but not us and why did we have to wait 30+ minutes if you weren't going to make our orders? Read moreLove love love smoothie king the brand I’m use to Jamba Juice. However every since I have been visiting this location, it seems that the staff is very unpleasant. Well not the whole staff just the one that tells me everytime I come there that they stop taking customers at 845pm. But the sign on the door say OPEN UNTIL 9pm. It’s been servers time I have seen customers come in after me wanting smoothie but have been turned away because they don’t take customers after 845. When I asked about that the gentleman said oh because SMOOTHIE KING wants us out of here at 9. There are usually a few orders left to be picked up at the 845/9 mark. So even if they closed at 9 they still wouldn’t leave until after 9. I can’t believe CORPORATE would say such a thing. As a business professional I am for certain that was a lie. He then tells me that I’m sure several people complain to corporate but corporate not going to do anything about it. I’m just speechless. Read moreOrdered a smoothie bowl ahead of time through the app to avoid the wait. Unfortunately the poor team was WAY UNDERSTAFFED! Three employees and at least 7 customers in the lobby and a long stream of tickets printing out. The tall guy who I think was the manager on staff?? Was so friendly and trying his best to stay positive was clearly overworked. The young girl with Disney Princess eyes was also trying her hardest to keep up. I asked for a refund since I was in a hurry. It’s a shame cuz The smoothie bowls are so good and I really was looking forward to one today.
If the franchisee sees this, sir when it’s 80+ degrees out on a weekend you need at least 4 or 5 experienced team members on hand cuz 12-2 are peak lunch hour rush times!
