Crumbl — Restaurant in Thornton Township

I usually don’t write bad reviews but this business is unprofessional. Not a good work place environment. Felt like a middle schooler working here. Bullying and getting away with it. It’s not right at all. The behavior I experienced triggered my anxiety and stress to the point I couldn’t come back to work. Im not putting down the business just sharing the experience that I had with Crumbl. Maybe the other locations are better but mental health is a serious deal and I felt like no one cared about how I felt and was getting bullied. Working as an individual with a disability is hard as it is, it’s not right to treat anyone with disrespect but be more understanding with people regardless of what that individual has. I had to sign an agreement stating that I will not be disrespectful to anyone and be respectful & made SURE I understood what I was reading. Which is fine to make sure,but everything on that agreement didn’t match up with the way they treated me. but everyone in there constantly was disrespectful and they said to report if we saw anything which I did but ended up being the “bad guy”cause they didn’t want to believe me… I didn’t appreciate that cause I’m not a liar. Usually I have a good experience but today the service was horrible. I wait over 30 mins for cookies. I believe it was a bad batch but that was never communicated to me and no one gave me the option of changing my cookie preference. After tell the associate if she had my order after 20 minutes of waiting she said she would check but never came back to help me. After waiting another 10 minutes I asked another associate for a refund and she proceeded to tell the associate I spoke to initially. I had to wait another 10-15 minutes for her to come give me a refund. She only asked my name . I told her I waited 40 minutes and if there was an issue. She said oh we had a bad batch of cookies. I was never notified of this and I did not get any form of an apology for my inconvenience. I understand they were busy and understaffed but I still should have received some communication of what was going on or compensation for my inconvenience. I don’t think I recommend anyone to this...

I’d give 0 stars if possible, highly unsatisfied with my visit here last night. I placed what I thought was a curbside order last night and marked on my app “I’m here” at 7:10PM I waited until 7:20PM to call the store and let them know I was outside waiting for my order and they said “ok we’ll bring it right out”. I saw over 10 customers go in & out before they even acknowledged me. I saw the workers looking out at me in my car multiple times, still no order or nothing! It wasn’t until 7:35 they CALLED ME back and said “you placed 2 orders and one isn’t curbside that’s why we haven’t brought your order out.” So you mean to tell me y’all waited over 20 minutes to tell me that? While I’m sitting out here this whole time while y’all KEEP STARING AT ME! You could’ve waved to tell me to come in, ANYTHING. The lady said “um we can still bring it out tho”. So I waited outside for 30 minutes to receive 4 cookies…. Outrageous, horrible...
