Ay Guey Snacks – Thornton, CO If you’re looking for a place to satisfy your sweet, spicy, and savory cravings all in one stop, Ay Guey Snacks is it! This little spot in Thornton is packed with bold flavors and creative takes on classic Mexican street snacks. From their loaded tostilocos and mouth-watering elotes to the fresh-cut fruit cups topped with Tajín and chamoy, everything is made fresh and full of flavor. The mangonadas are hands down the best in town—perfectly balanced with sweet mango, tangy chamoy, and just the right amount of spice. And don’t sleep on the crepes—they’re deliciously light, filled with fresh ingredients, and beautifully made. The presentation is always on point, and the portions are generous. The staff is super friendly and welcoming—they make you feel like you’re hanging out at a friend’s place. Don’t forget to grab one of their aguas frescas—so refreshing and the perfect way to balance out the bold flavors. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick snack or treating the family, Ay Guey Snacks delivers every time. A must-visit gem in Thornton!

I've been wanting to visit because not too many places sell Aguas Frescas near me. There were no customers, but I was attended to immediately. The clerk told me what flavors they offered, and I had an opportunity to talk about the history of the restaurant. She had a tip jar with a two dollar bill in it. I asked if she could exchange it for an electronic tip. She replied, no, because it was their lucky two dollar bill but then told me they had three total, but someone stole the other two. (Not sure why they don't just frame it and display it on their back wall?). The cucumber lime refreshment is delicious, and I can't wait to return and try their other flavors.

I was craving a churro and I found this place! The churros come out hot and fresh. They were filled with dulce de leche. Super good👍🏽 muy delicioso! My son had the cookie dough iceream cone and he almost ate it all! My husband got the crepas, it came with strawberries, bananas, nutella filled and whip cream, very good he ate it all! This is a great place to get your desserts. I recommend 🙂

We tried the Mazapan smoothie or shake And holly cow that is delicious. The ladies are very friendly great customer service. The only thing I would caution people about is the Maruchona it's the cup noodles smothered in corn nacho cheese and your choice of chips. They do use the shrimp flavored one I did not know untill we called and asked when we got back home. So if you have an allergy to seafood don't get the Maruchona, unless they have different flavored cup noodles you can choose from I wish I had asked but didn't even think of it. No I'm not allergic I just don't like any type of see food there for I didn't like it. Other than that this is a place we will come back to in the...

We have been coming to ay guey for about 4 years and the service has always been good and so has the food, even though the prices are pretty expensive. Today we waited almost 40 minutes for our order of a monster loko, papas locas Especiales and a churro which was supposed to be the churros dulces. I would not have written this review if it wasn’t for the rude older lady working at the front today. My husband asked a simple question about the differences between two different items on the menu and she responded to him like he was stupid. I did not appreciate that at all, especially after spending $50 on snacks and driving all the way from Loveland, CO just to support...
