(Metal Wire found in food)
These reviews have to be fake, or paid for. There is no way this place is some 4/5 stars. I don't really write reviews, but I have to make an exception here.
Wife and I picked up some food to go on a Saturday around 5pm. The place was empty which was a bit sketchy in my opinion. Regardless, we got our food and moved on. Took it home and the bag literally fell out from under us. The grease had soaked through both the containers and the bag so all the food from my wifes dish (Chicken Lo Mein) had fallen out. Not really huge deal, scooped it up and continued eating.
By the end we both thought "Man...that really wasn't that good...It was really greasy." I had a bit of leftovers (Combination Fried Rice) so I saved mine for the next day.
I heat up my food, and as I'm eating, I feel something odd in the back of my throat. I start hacking whatever it was up, and what do I find but a piece of metal wire. No joke, I couldn't make this stuff up. (I'd upload a picture but google apparently wont actually load it.) I had to come back and read these reviews again, and it sounds like some people feel the same way. This place is really bad. I mean...My expectations are low, it's takeout chinese food but this...was just really bad. Not just because of...

We had Sesame Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, Triple Delight & Chicken Fried Rice
Portions were same as any other Chinese food restaurant. Not sure why reviews talk about good portions. At least for take out.
Chicken Lo Mein - was saturated in oil. Ok flavor but bland. Gave me heartburn super greasy.
Sesame Chicken - over cooked and rough to eat, not tender. The crust was dense and over crispy had to work to chew these. I’ve had way better from other restaurants.
Chicken Fried Rice was stale and taste as if it was old. Our meat was heavily salted but flavor was stale. Chicken had a leather texture tough to chew.
Ran down strip mall location, it’s ok. Around $13-16 per dish Still an expensive meal for a bigger family.
I have tried different Chinese Restaurants in the area and the only I have liked for years is Lotus Cafe in Thornton. Unfortunately the close Sundays so we have to try other restaurants. Typically they are always just ok. For us when we choose to eat this high calorie meals we want to make sure it’s well worth it. So this place I cannot recommend we didn’t like the food, atmosphere, or automatic prompt on tip even for a take out order you pick up yourself. 😒 Can’t say we will be back it was just not...
Read moreI went to this place for the first time on Sunday 10/15/23. My first interaction was with the waitress, and regrettably, she did not exude the level of courtesy and enthusiasm that one would hope for in a dining establishment. It appeared as though she might have been having an off day, which can happen to anyone, but it did impact the overall atmosphere of the place.
As a vegetarian who doesn't consume cheese, I was intrigued by the lunch menu that offered an egg roll, soup, and a cheese wonton. Given my dietary preferences, I kindly inquired if it was possible to substitute the cheese wonton for an additional egg roll. Unfortunately, my request was denied. While I understand that every restaurant operates by its own rules and limitations, it was somewhat perplexing to me that such a straightforward request could not be accommodated.
In light of this refusal to make a simple substitution, I made the decision to leave and take my business elsewhere. It's disheartening to see a situation where the establishment prioritized adhering to a rigid policy over retaining a customer. A small gesture of flexibility in meeting a customer's dietary needs can go a long way in building positive relationships and encouraging...
