I cannot say enough about the incredible experience I had with Sliceworks in Thornton. As a member of the West Ridge Elementary PTA, I’m always looking for ways to celebrate our hardworking teachers and staff. With National Pizza Day approaching, I hoped to partner with a local pizzeria to treat them—but with a limited budget, I wasn’t sure what was possible.
From the moment I reached out, the Sliceworks team went above and beyond. They immediately connected me with their manager, Mike, who responded quickly, asked what we needed, and said he’d see what he could do. Within days, he reached back out—not with hesitation or conditions, but with generosity. He was all in.
Despite being overwhelmed that day, handling orders from other schools, and even dealing with a no-call no-show, Mike and his team delivered exactly what he promised—exceptional service and even better food. Our staff was absolutely blown away, not just by the quality of the pizza but by the kindness and dedication behind it.
Sliceworks isn’t just a pizza place; it’s a business that cares. You can feel it in the way they serve their customers and taste it in every bite. We won’t be going anywhere else for pizza in the future, and we cannot wait to continue supporting and partnering with such an outstanding team.
The world needs more businesses like Sliceworks—and more...
Read moreTried this place when it was Garlic Knot and it was ok. Ordered a pizza, garlic knots, and spinach wheel for pickup. The manager (?) wasn't very friendly, and frankly was unkind to a nice young man who seemed new to employment there. He (manager, I think. Adult guy, little heavyset with dark hair and beard) seemed far too flustered for the amount of business they had. Maybe they had a ton of online orders, but whatever. You're in a customer service business, so provide some decent service please. The food was pretty decent. Nothing great, but not bad. It's hard to find decent pizza nearby, so we'll give them another try. The pizza was actually better the second day, reheated in the oven. So maybe it wasn't cooked long enough when I picked it up. Pretty good crust. When I ordered online, I thought the garlic knots were a full order, but I guess you order them by the "each". My mistake, but we only got one knot. Their mistake, too, b/c the menu stated "garlic knots". Plural. And the pic showed an arrangement of 6 knots in a circle on a plate. What...
Read moreThe food is good but I refuse to use them until they stop using Doordash. Every time we have used them Doordash has messed up the order and no one will do anything about it. After the third time I said this is enough. Doordash wont do anything and Slice works wont do anything. How did they mess up? Two times it was the complete wrong order. This time we ordered a Large pepperoni and we get three slices of Hawaiian and a Salad. Last time the Doordash driver literally dropped it in the street, but mostly it is getting the wrong order. Will be told by SliceWorks it is up to Doordash to fix then Doordash will say it is up to SliceWorks to fix. Why cant I just take it back and get what I ordered? How does it get fixed anyway? My pizza remade by a person who hates their job anyway or have a Doordash person who hates their life and redeliver a cold pizza like always? All so they can probably tamper with it because some one...
