I had a place to order online. I picked it up and brought it home and half of my order was missing. We don't live far so usually it wouldn't be an inconvenience. However I had a sick baby at home with my older son watching her while I went to pick up the order cause he had to go to work so when I had to go back, it was a bit of an inconvenience because that now me and my son late for work. When I went to pick up the order, the Guy there said at no charge and I said while I was prepaid so would it be credited. He replied yes just a call next day to talk to the boss and that he would leave a sticky note. So I called the next day. The boss wasn't there, but another lady was said that she seen the sticky note and to call back the next day so I called back the next day and spoke with the owner and when I explained to him what happened, he got a defensive and said that They don't do that and he doesn't know why somebody would say that so he needs to talk with his staff to make sure it's True. Which obviously made it come off like I was lying mind you this whole time I never had one attitude so I was like OK that's fair. He told me to call back after two which I didn't no answer. Honestly, it wasn't about the money or trying to get a free mail it was more about the principal on your word as a business. I've never been a Karen And I never write reviews, but I feel I need on this one. I called back again and once again they told me to call back at that point. I was just waiting for them to tell me that they weren't going to refund me which I would've respected more. I called the following days spoke with the owner again he was defensive and said that they told me that they would give me a discount on the next meal, which they didn't Tell me he began to get huffy about it. I just told him we will no longer be going there which is a shame because my kids love that place and so does my family that lives around here so all I was really waiting for was for them to say they would give me a refund or they weren't gonna give me a refund instead of giving me the runaround they're making me call back over and over Like a bugaboo long story short we won't be going back there bad...

First, they didn't require payment over the phone when I called the order in. Not a big deal. When I arrived, I found myself waiting in the dining room with a number of other people milling about with no indication of spacing concerns observed. When a couple employees came out of the kitchen, neither of them were wearing masks or even gloves. That was when I cancelled my order and explained it was due to the lack of Covid preparedness.
Based on wall decor, I'm guessing the owner is of the opinion Covid is a liberal hoax and an opportunity for heavy-handed government oversight. Fine. That's your opinion to have. However... if you aren't wiling to observe the necessary precautions in the face of a pandemic, what other safety concerns aren't being observed? Are your employees washing hands before touching food? Are you storing food safely, in refrigerators and away from rodents? Are you cleaning the grills and working surfaces each night?
I've enjoyed the food here in the past, but I can't support a business which isn't doing anything to keep it's employees or customers safe. Thoughts and...

Called in three SEPARATE orders for myself and two coworkers for lunch. I was specific when I called that these were three separate orders and even ordered them as "For the first I would like...", "For the second order, can I get....." and "For the last one, I'd like...". When I arrived to pick up the order and the owner gave me a combined total, I asked if they could be rung up separately. He chastized me like he was my parent! "It would have been nice if you had said so when you ordered, Fae" to which I reminded him that I had in fact indicated they were THREE SEPARATE ORDERS when I called them in. It was then left up to me to re-order each order so he could ring them up they way they were originally requested... separately. (Why oh why didn't I have him check the orders against the original he took?) On the way out the door, he actually chastized me again and said next time I need to indicate I want to PAY for them separately. (Huh? Isn't that what it normally means when someone says they have separate orders?) After all that, turns out I paid for an order of cheese fries I never got (THIS is why I should have had him check against the original order). It's a shame I won't be going back because the cheese steak...
