Do you love Noodles & Company?
Then don't go here.
Let's go over the reasons why:
Management is clueless and is cutting corners that is effecting the customer service, products pushed out and overall quality of the food.
When dealing with rude employees, I would request to speak to the manager. Usually the manager attempts to defend their position and their employee without taking into consideration my complaints. In one case, I asked for the cashier's name who rang me up and the manager said, "They're new here, so I don't really know their name." This was a blatant lie, as there is no way a manager wouldn't know the names of their workers, otherwise how would they know who was supposed to be on shift at given times?
Normally, when you get Noodles & Company food, it is cooked well and has plenty of sauce, cheese or other ingredients for the item you ordered. Normally, the food is clearly prepared well and the person making it put the necessary amount of ingredients into it. NOT HERE. They skimp on the sauce, they skimp on the cheese and attempt to charge $1 for additional sauce (KNOWING they are putting too little in, that people will request additional sauce) This is clearly unethical. As I can goto the Noodles by my workplace, or any other Noodles I've been to and get the same dish with enough sauce that I do not need to order extra.
Finding lobs of the wrong kinds of noodles in your dish is always fun... except it's not. These employees seem to believe that the customer is a hassle, annoying them. This establishment is awfully managed and constantly turning over staff (every time I've gone it's been an entire new crew working there).
One of the worst aspects of this place is how rude the employees are. Often, talking about paying customers either directly in front of or behind their back (I have overheard them complaining about a customer after they just walked out). This type of behavior is unacceptable in any customer facing business. They roll their eyes and really want you to know how much they hate their jobs, after all - you are the reason they have one and they must despise you for that fact. This shows a complete absence of management existing in this workplace.
Want more proof? Often, they don't clean the tables after customers leave - having several tables filthy even during non-busy times. This means management is poorly directing their employees work. Either that, or these annoying teenagers working here with no work ethic refuse to do it and the management has no backbone. Either way, it's not okay. Especially because nearby establishments manage to get these things done with little effect on their quality or quantity of work completed.
Each time I've gone to this specific establishment, I have left severely disappointed with the food, the service, the employees (and managers, as each time I or my wife have gone in here has led to a conversation with the managers) have all been awful.
I highly recommend anyone venturing to this specific Noodles, avoid it. If you're seriously cravings Noodles, go to a different location, it'll be worth the drive. If you don't want to drive further, just head next door to Qdoba - they do things right and treat their customers well (it's a WELL MANAGED facility, unlike this Noodles).
To the Noodles employees and management at 120th & Colorado, the only remaining thing I have to say is:...
Read moreI used to be a huge fan of Noodles and would visit frequently. Service and food quality has declined over the years and as a result so has my visits. Actually, the overall experience has declined. My recent visit to the Thornton location by far was the worst experience ever and Noodles has lost a customer for good. Here's why - went with my wife and her mother and ordered dine in. We ordered two Pesto Cavatapis (probably one of the most popular dishes) and a mac and cheese. After 25 minutes of waiting, staff informed us that they ran out of pesto and asked if we wanted something different which I declined. They than asked if we still wanted the mac and cheese to which I replied no since two of the three meals were not available and we wanted to dine together so I just asked for a refund. They offered to refund everything except the rice crispy treat because mom had taken a bite. I said that was poor customer service but whatever. Refund was $3.00 difference then what I originally paid (not in my favor) plus they didn't refund the tip and said there was nothing they could do. Seriously? Of all the places we could have went to we picked Noodles and I ended loosing money and wasting 30 minutes. Absolute horrible...
Read moreThey had my order sitting on the counter in the kitchen ready to go while I was waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes. I watched them set all of the other orders out for the to go tables for them to be picked up and I could see my order just sitting there not being worked on. I assumed they just were not finished and needed something else to complete it then they were going to set it out. Nope. I was completely ignored for 20 minutes standing there while the order just sat there getting cold and I was not acknowledged or greeted or anything during that time. Again, after 20 minutes of standing there I finally had to approach the counter and somebody finally asked which order I was waiting for. I told her it was the one sitting on the counter back there. She quickly handed me the two bags that were sitting there ready to go and turned around without an offering any sort of apology or anything. I'm pretty disgusted at the unprofessional behavior that I saw tonight. Won't be back here. This location needs to step it...
