I placed an order on the phone at 11:16am for pickup. Before hanging up, she told me they were closing at 12. I live around the corner, no problem. I approach the door with my 4-year - old at 11:40 and a young lady opens to tell me the grill is closed and I tell her I have to pick up to let me in. I wait at the counter for at least 5 minutes while another lady tries to figure out/verbally stresses out about ringing up a previous order for someone which is no where to be seen. After she finally finishes, she looks up a and says "Hi, how can I help you?" I point to the order that has been placed next to her on the counter with the ticket sitting next to it and start to tell her what it is after it took her a second to realize. She finds that someone put ham on one of my meals that did not come with it and starts to yell back "Who wrote this ticket up?" I was trying to tell her I didn't care how she rang it up, just as long as I could get out of there quicker and she seemed to get an attitude at the end when I told her I don't care how much it costs as long as I could get out of there!
I did not feel welcome from the moment I stepped up to the place and felt even less welcome and more like they wanted to kick me out. I got back to my house before 12:00(their closing time). I've never had any problems coming here before but this kind of experience makes me never want to come back again.

I was hoping my review would help the owners to address the issues that I encountered like professionals, not call me out as a customer, lie about what I said, and review my own visit to their store. What is a review for, if not to improve? It's hard to believe that you know anything about my personality when you didn't even pay the slightest attention to me until it was convenient for you. I never cursed at anyone and it's sad that you would have to lie on a customer to make yourself look better. I'm completely disappointed.
Also, if your goal is to anger your upset customers further, then please keep replying to negative reviews with your own horrible attitude and opinions. This is obviously a page for you to review your customers and not for people to review...
Read moreGood food. Friendly, fast service. We went for breakfast on a Sunday, so it was a little busy. If it hadn't been busy I would've been concerned that I had ventured into the wrong place. Busy = Popular = good sign you made the right choice in eateries. We ordered pancakes, breakfast burrito, biscuits and gravy, apple fritter, and something that I think is called a rosebud fritter. Pancakes were decent and well sized. Breakfast burrito was good, but not quite the "best in town" that someone else commented in their review. But hey, to each their own. The biscuits and gravy were also good, though I'd prefer a little more crumbled sausage in the gravy. As for the fritters... yeah, those things are wicked delicious and addictive.
Regarding some of the negative reviews I perused prior to visiting this place, I can assure you they're coming from people who are being petty and really shouldn't be permitted to submit reviews. I'm willing to bet they have never submitted any positive reviews for any place they've visited. Now ask yourself, is that the sort of review you want to place your faith in? I doubt it. And so I say you cast aside those reviews and treat yourself to...
Read moreI don't know how this place is so well-reviewed. My wife & I get in and it's busy, a good sign. It's an order-and-sit style restaurant, so you don't have a waiter. The food is pretty pricey, and the patrons seem excited--we're expecting something good. My wife orders steak & eggs medium rare, and I get biscuits & gravy with eggs, sausage, and bacon for variety. We live nearby, so we're hoping this will be a regular spot for us. We complete our order and take a seat. The cashier taking our order was nice and helpful, but the food started taking a long time to come out. After it finally arrives, we quickly discover that our food is mysteriously cold? Like, not disgustingly uncooked cold. Just, been finished and forgotten somewhere cold. Her steak is cooked medium well, and my biscuits, gravy, and sausage are from a can/box and you can tell. Also, my eggs weren't scrambled as ordered, but prepared like a frittata. Everything was bland and needed copious amounts of salt & pepper. One of the worst restaurants we've been to and we definitely won't be coming back! Save your money and go elsewhere.
Tl;dr: This café is aptly named cause you'll always...
