What heck is going on at this place? My wife and I went to dine-in and they were friendly enough. Things started off weird when we asked for water and said they only had bottled… so we ordered a tea and soda. The soda tasted odd… can’t really describe how. And they were in to-go soup containers?? We looked past it and then ordered our food. The soup came out in a to-go container. And then the egg rolls in a styrofoam container. And then they brought us foam plates with our to-go containers of our entrees.... To the food... The others that have stated how bad the pad Thai is are correct. It’s terrible. It’s just sweet bright orange noodles. The pad see ‘lew’ was watery, the sauce tasted good, but was tooooo thin. It was like soup. The tofu was over cooked and chewy. My wife had to cut it with a knife.... The pad see lew smelled terrible on the drive home we tossed it. And just look at our table... So much plastic. Dining in should not be like this. Never returning.

It has a small storefront and dining space, but don't let that fool you. The food is great, especially their signature basil dishes. The service is very friendly. They are willing to make things differently for you if you need it. For me it was making boba tea without the milk (since I am vegan).

I will admit we were going for Thai tea and no food but the place looked nice and the Thai tea was so good. Huge container of tea and not a small plastic cup. Food smells were tempting but I could not stay. Definitely will go back for the food! They are closed on Mondays

The food/restaurant is wonderful, which is why I've put 5 stars. But I'm writing this to warn other customers: NEVER ORDER THROUGH QMENU. When I order from this restaurant, I've used Qmenu because it's labeled as the restaurant's preferred online ordering option and is directly linked on their site. However, almost every time (literally 4 out of 5 times now over a few months, by my count) there's been one glitch or another with the service, and at this point it's just obviously an innate Qmenu problem and their service must be considered essentially useless.

Today Qmenu charged my card without actually placing the order, instead reflecting on the checkout page that the card was declined (it wasn't). This has happened to me at least once before, among the other problems I've had with them. Sure, they're refunding the charge, it'll be evened out eventually -- but when you're not wealthy and are splurging on a treat, having your money held hostage for 1-2 business days is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. A once-in-a-while glitch is forgivable, but these issues are persistent and it's utterly ridiculous. I know I'm not the only person who sometimes gets down to being broke for a couple of days, which is fine/my own risk to calculate when I'm getting what I pay for ... But when ripped off (even just temporarily) WITHOUT getting what I tried to pay for, stuck waiting on the refund before I can spend money on either a replacement order or other food, that's infuriating.

The Qmenu customer service agent was very sweet and professional, but couldn't give me any sort of discount or credit as compensation for the fact that I've now wasted an unfortunate amount of time on trying to place orders that go nowhere and trying to get mistakes fixed. That's also unacceptably poor service (again, not the agent's fault) from a company of that prevalence.

Don't order through Qmenu. Save yourself the hassle and call the restaurant directly. And to Thai Basil, I wonder how many other customers have been deflected away from making purchases with you due to the frustration Qmenu causes? I would make a new order directly by calling the restaurant today, if I could, but many people would just grumble and move on and order somewhere else. I believe you're losing business because of Qmenu, probably a lot of business, even though most people probably aren't vocal about it like I am.

PLEASE, if it's possible/realistic for you, for your sake and that of us customers, I hope you consider changing to a different service provider for your online ordering. Some of us have disabilities and greatly prefer online ordering over making phone calls or even can't handle phone calls at all on some days, so having a working online ordering platform is important. But Qmenu is garbage and I'm sure I'm far from the first person to decide never to use it again. Please ditch them. Your restaurant...

I generally do not comment on meals I have had at restaurants but after my experiences today I feel compelled to share.

I suggested to a friend of mine we have lunch at this Thai Basil location. While driving there he used his “Smart Phone” to get the 411 on the location. He proceeded to tell me about the negative comments. I responded with “So you are going to let strangers dictate to you what you will experience?” Needless to say we drove there and had an excellent lunch. He ordered his usual Sesame Chicken and I started with Thai Spicy Soup followed by Thai Basil Chicken.

First my soup was excellent and I am critical of how that is made. The temperature was served hot and the spices were in perfect proportion with crisp vegetables.

My Thai Basil Chicken was served what I call “Wok hot”; temperature wise HOT yet the crispness of the vegetables told me it was not in a warming pan prior to my arrival. The basil was in perfect balance with the sauce

The service was professional and accommodating. Another customer near us wanted something from the menu ‘but not spicy” and the waitress said “We can do that”.

The customer then wanted the equivalent of orange chicken (not on the menu) as may be seen in another chain and the waitress explained how they could modify an item on the menu meal and it would be very close.

My skeptical friend said little during the meal accepts to tell me I was right “the food was great”. He was busy eating.

I will visit this location again when I am in that part of the city. I want to shop around the menu, try my other favorites.

If you are going out to eat you will never find a single restaurant that serves every dish exactly the same as every other. It is called variety and if a meal or the service on a single day that is not to your liking, don’t be the first cast stones.

Maybe you should not believe those who do. That’s called freedom of choice. From Paul and I – (take it with a grain of salt and try it)...

The food was so disgustingly sweet that about 1/16th of the way threw i started getting a fever. Also idk if he is the owners husband or who the older guy is there but he came out and gave me a very ,very, very, dirty look for no apparent reason. he did this about 5 times!!!!! and waited to make sure i saw him. anyways I got really bad food poisoning from them yesterday I am still very sick with vomiting and diarrhea. all around very bad experience! even if they didn't poison it their food is just bad! my moms food was to sweet too, was disgusting she said it was like trying to eat a plate of corn syrup. we wanted food not poison. I do not recomend this place they are ether biggots or racist I cant tell no clue why i got the treatment I did or why i was poisoned I don't recommend ever going here unless you want to eat garbage and get very sick. I make very good authentic Thai food my friend from Thailand who is a professional cook there taught me. their food taste absolutely nothing like proper Thai food. its just another restaurant that caters to the disgusting filthy american diet pounds of sugar tons of salt... its disgusting! it was even worse then Panda Express they dump even more diabetes causing corn syrup on their food then Panda Express. I really wish I never had this experience.

Well I just got out of the hospital they said I contracted hepatitis A. Which last for one month so great. This also proves they pooped in my food. The only way you can get Hep A is by consuming human feces. My next stop is tri city...
