Case#1. January 2023. Original review
This photo shows this store TODAY. There is just a sign blocking access into the parking lot. While sitting here I have seen an employee walk out with a box full of Krispy Kreme donuts. This is the second time in the last 2 months that I have been here and, this has happened. What is going on, this is ridiculous. I'm sure they have signs above their doors that save these doors must remain unlocked during business hours. It looks to me like there's people in here that don't even want to work. There's four cars in the parking lot. WHAT IS THE REASON THAT THEY ARE CLOSED???????
Case #2- Friday February 23rd, 2023. Second time there, a year from 1st visit.I figured I'd give this place another chance. This time they were open but they were out of the raspberry filled donuts. ( they were out of a least 6 different styles of donuts) I was told that I could get them tomorrow afternoon. That's ridiculous. So that's 2 different times that I've been too this Krispy Kreme donuts and left with nothing. If I could leave a zero stars I would. Go here at your own risk. I drove roughly thirty miles to get here and this is what happens to me.
The people that work there should not even be in customer service. They look like they hate working there and they're only doing it for the money, They definitely should not be working with the general public. They should be working in a warehouse somewhere. They Would be better off better off if they worked in the back of a warehouse somewhere where that they would not have to deal with Is the buying public.
Case# 3 I tried to go in again today 4/06/2024 at 7: 30PM and order once again raspberry filled donuts. Once again they were out of them they only had lemon filled. The only thing I can say is if they're constantly out of raspberry filled donuts, MAYBE THEY SHOULD MAKE MORE, BECUSE THEY ARE SELLING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When running a business the proper thing to do if you are selling out of an item is the order more or make more. But these people are not business-minded at all and I'm surprised they're actually in business at all. This will be the last time that I try to go to this Krispy Kreme. They just don't care.
Case 4#. 04/18/2024. ONCE AGAIN OUT OF RASPBERRY FILLED DONUTS AGAIN ONCE AGAIN OUT OF RASPBERRY FILLED DONUTS AGAIN OUT OF RASPBERRY...

Thank goodness that their terrible service, inability to keep their oven running, and inability to cash out Krispy Kreme reward points made it very easy to decide not to go here anymore. In three of my last four visits, the person serving was short, unfriendly, and couldn't care less if I was a satisfied customer. In two of the last four visits, the oven was broken. Today, I went in to cash in the reward points I earned last year so that my wife could take her co-workers some donuts. I ordered two dozen glazed, selected the option to redeem one dozen free donuts in the app, and handed my phone to the server. She took my phone back to the drive through cash register to scan the app (without explaining why the front register wasn't good enough), scanned the code, and brought it back. She then informed me that the total was ~$23. The price for a dozen is $11. The price listed for two dozen was $18. She didn't mention that scanning the code didn't offer me any discount. She didn't mention that the order was MORE expensive than the menu price. She didn't mention that since they scanned the code, my reward points were now gone from the app. She simply asked for a higher amount of money, and to her poker-skill credit, with a straight face. I handed her my credit card, but objected. Without saying a word, she turned to go talk to a group of employees standing in the back of the store (probably contemplating why their oven was producing burnt lumps of dough that looked like brown ant-hills) and talked to them for about 60 seconds. Without any apology or nicety, she came back and told me they do not honor rewards points because they are a franchise. This is news to me, since I collected all the rewards points here in the first place. She shrugged, and went to run my card. I stopped her, asked for the card back, left my donuts on the counter, and went home. My wife's co-workers would have...

Needless to say the donuts and coffee that I ordered a week in advance did not show up anywhere in the same ballpark as on time. They were more than an hour late when I had 100+ plus people who showed up not only to chit-chat about my mom but also to have coffee and donuts like I had intended. It was incredibly embarrassing and it really sucked that my wife had to step away from socializing to spend time on the phone getting upset with people who sling donuts for a living. The first person she spoke to told her "well we're very busy", yeah, no freaking kidding and that's exactly why we ordered IN ADVANCE. We ended up shelling out additional money and running to a local store to pick up more pastries which was exactly what we did not want to have to do on the day of the memorial service. Look, I know it's just donuts and coffee and in the grand scheme of life it's really not a huge deal but having such a stupid thing like donut delivery become one more thing on an already long list of stressors was too much to contend with on such a sad day for my family. My wife was told by a different employee that we would receive a call from a manager with a refund. We never did. I submitted a complaint through the website. Still haven't heard a peep. In conclusion to the Tolstoy-ish novel of a review that I never in my life would have guessed I'd be writing for Krispy freaking Kreme I just want to tell you that if you order a very reasonably sized order from them and expect to receive delivery of said order on time then you might want to...
