Horrible service! I'm literally blown away right now. Been coming here monthly for many years (since before, when it was Inta Juice) and I can now say this franchise will never get another penny from us. I'm getting over the stomach flu and finally feeling well enough to venture onto other foods besides soup so I sent my husband to go get us smoothies as a nice treat. It is 8/4/24 and the store opens at 10am. My husband arrives at 10:30am and attempts to order 2 smoothies (one 16oz and one 24 oz) and is told by the gal behind the counter that they only have one blender and they will only be doing ONE smoothie per a person. Flabbergasted, he looks at the empty store as he IS and HAS been the only customer in the lobby and politely says "Oh? Okay? Well can you like, just make my wife's smoothie first and then mine? I'm happy to wait" and SHE TOLD HIM NO! I could understand if the store was packed and there was a line out the door but he was literally the only person in there! Even if I give the benefit of the doubt and there were online orders (which there didn't appear to be because she standing doing nothing when he entered) you're seriously going to turn away business when it is sitting RIGHT in front of you?! I bet you weren't limiting all your grub hub orders to ONE smoothie per person! Furthermore, even if we were both present and we paid separately what difference would it make!? I'm sure this poor girl was just doing what she was told but that is crazy to me. Learn to read the room! So long story short, in comes my husband with my smoothie and another smoothie (from your competitor) since he walked away from your store without his order. Read moreWhen my boyfriend and I went in to the store, it was empty. We place our order sat down and another customer came in ordering 5 smoothies. We waited ten minutes watching the staff talk and walk around before they started making any orders. They got the guy that came in after us two of the five smooths before my boyfriend got his. Then finished the other three for the guy behind us and a free smoothie for some guy visiting before giving me mine, did I mention I'm 9 months pregnant! At this point my boyfriend upset walks over to talk to the manager who basically disregarded him not even asking or listening long enough to hear what we where upset about. saying well as you can see we are really busy... There where four or five people in line who hadn't even placed their order yet! I also seen no one wash their hands! After touching their hair, each other, their cell phones. Read moreI have celiac disease and called today just a second ago to see if there was anything I could have was told that basically everything did have gluten in it because of the sherbert ice cream containing gluten. So the reason I'm giving 4 stars even though I didn't get anything is because the nice lady who answered the phone was super knowledgeable and very nice I wish I grabbed her name to put her in the review but it's Friday July 3rd at 12:00 p.m. and she was awesome.
If I could make a recommendation to this company though; in this day and age especially with people being diagnosed with celiac disease or gluten intolerance all the time every day I think it would be a good idea to have a gluten friendly menu or options for people with celiac disease because I can tell you now basically for sure that you would get more business and it would most likely easily pay for itself in terms of adding menu items that are safe.
