As I frequent a lot of these places, it makes sense for me to join their loyalty clubs and accumulate points and also benefit from the annual free birthday email. I can then redeem those points for future visits. It just so happened that I received an email for a free item and I happily ventured forth to redeem at my local store. Upon entering, the store was empty and I only after a min or so I heard a faint voice coming from the back. A young girl come out and I asked her what I can get for the email that I received. I showed her the coupon on my phone, but she was dumbfounded as to what it was and proceeded to argue with me that the coupon was invalid and she was not going to honored it. Instead of helping my resolve this issue she insisted on arguing with me and tried to deflect and redirect my questions to "maybe you can go to another Coldstone location" and "the only thing I could do is give you is a BOGO". I was by myself and out shopping so even if I did get the BOGO, it would have melted and gone to waste. I asked for a manager, but she was the only person on the premises and gave me the owners phone number. After I left the store, I called the owner and explained the horrible experience that I had received. The owner apologized and instructed me to return to the store to finally get what I had originally went to there to get in the first place. I doubt that after many years of loyal patronage that ill be returning to this location any time...
Read moreAngel has horrible customer service. I came in with my email and on my app and i have a 5 dollar off coupon , I asked the girl if they are able to look it up she says yes. Well I order me ice cream and the original guy says he needs a number I tell him I dont know the old number but show him email and app! Then angel comes because he is the next best thing to the owner he says. I show him the email and my app and says nothing he can do without phone number. Mind you he is a so called manager! Takes the ice cream and throws it away! Now instead of giving me coupon you rather waste? Common sense isnt common anymore. I call lorie and she says they have been trained for better customer service so tells me she will honor coupon. I go back in to get my ice cream and the little boy says it wasn't that serious! Um it wasn't but then you couldn't do your job properly and have good service and honor what you saw from two different Avenues? He then says she (lorie) told me to give you $5? He gives me $5 cash. Read moreTHIS LOCATAION IS NOT UP TO PAR WITH CDC GUIDLINES FOR CLEANLINESS AND DISINFECTION! My wife and I came into this location 2/13/21. We were asked to put our masks on by an employee, so we complied with the request. As we moved through the process of ordering, we noticed that the customer in front of us paid with cash. Employees are wearing latex gloves, received cash from customer, gave change in bills and coins, and continued with making ice cream without changing gloves after touching the cash and change. Secondly, we paid with a credit card. There is a touch screen kiosk you proceed with your checkout when you use a card. Two customers have already used this kiosk and there was no disinfecting of the kiosk station after everyone else in the store has touched it. Not only that, we were handed spoons by the employee with the same gloves used to receive the cash from the previous customer. If we are required to wear a mask in your location, you need to be held responsible for not following ALL CDC guidelines and not complying with regulations to remain open.
