The framing department unfortunately was not able to deliver quality framing. We took two large prints to be framed and the first time we were called to pick up, the corners of the frames didn’t meet up at all. They offered to use some glue to fill in the obvious gaps, but since that wouldn’t make the edges meet up they ultimately decided to redo the frames. I appreciate that they offered this, but how did those frames get past quality control in the first place? When we came back the second time, one of our paintings was fine but the second had large ripples across the canvas. Clearly they leaned something against it and it pulled loose. They said there really was nothing they could do, but again, who in quality control looks at that and says “yeah, that looks good and professional.” They said the framer “likely” thought it would tear the canvas or separate the paint if they stretched it further, but then why didn’t we get a call that said “we can’t get this to look right, want us to continue or refund?” Instead it was just given to us as if it was fine. The advice was for us to try and steam the canvas to tighten it up. We will try that I spose but I have low faith it will work and also, why am I fixing it? We took it to a “professional” so we could have it done right, not so I can take it home and steam it to fix obvious ripples. The people themselves were kind, but...
Read moreShelves are usually stocked, the online inventory has been off a few times on items I was looking for. Staff on the floor has always been helpful but it’s usually hard to find someone. I have had a few odd instances happen at the registers. Once my receipt didn’t print, I specifically needed a receipt. I was buying two jars to see which looked better in the space, knowing I would be returning the other jar. The manager told me my receipt was linked to my account so I should have no issues. Two days later I had an issue returning the jar. Another time I bought string that was labeled on the floor at 8.99. I scanned it in the app at the store, it was 8.99. It rang up as 11.89 so I mentioned it, and the cashier ignored me. After checking out I went over to the section and saw it was 8.99. I waited in line again and mentioned it to the same cashier. The manager came over and gave me a hard time. I offered to walk her over to the section to show her. She declined but still gave me a hard time. Hopefully the management will...
Read moreHad a curbside order that took 15 minutes to get to my car. I called and offered to move my car closer to the door so it would be easier to carry out since I bought a small piece of modular furniture (think IKEA, where it’s all in pieces) and I wasn’t sure how heavy it would be. I was told no and to stay in my curbside parking spot, they would bring a dolly. They lady carries my order (no dolly) to my car and tries to pass the modular storage piece thru my driver side window. I asked her to please put it in the back, which I received attitude for. Umm, I’m sorry, where would you like me to actually put that?? When I said thank you for placing in it back (after she dropped it), which she vocally was not happy about placing in the back of my SUV, her response was “sure” as she stormed away. Why...
