This is the nicest Chuck E. Cheese location that I have been to for these reasons: 1) More consistent supervision at door, monitoring the entrance and exit. This is a big part of this chain security and at other locations, I have observed lots of time periods without anyone there. I purposely chose a table by the door so I could monitor this yesterday, and I estimate that there was an employee there 90% of the time during the 2.5 hours I was there 2) Chuck E. Cheese made regularly scheduled appearances throughout the restaurant. Again, I have rarely seen this at other locations. 3) Employees seemed very diligent about monitoring the kids well-being. I saw a couple of employees "Rounding" on a regular basis 4) The Pizza was better Everything else about our visit was a typical Chuck E Cheese experience. They have "Bands" now in addition to the cards that customers load money on to. We had a great time there with our grandkids!

We celebrated my niece’s 6th birthday today at Chuck E Cheese in Thousand Oaks, it was quite busy with kids running around having fun, but buy a card with a time limit and you use that card on all the arcade games to win tickets, when you redeem the cards for all your winning, after 2 hours, we were only able to get 717 tickets, the minimum number of tickets you need to have is around 1500 and up, anything below that means the prizes are small, but in the end, my niece had fun which was the important part. We ordered 2 pizza to share among 9 of us, and a birthday cake, the pizza was good, the people who works there came by to check up on our group to see if everything was ok every so often, they were friendly and professional, they kept the place clean.

We had a blast! This location is clean and the staff was extremely professional! Our table was cleaned off while playing games, but they kindly gave us new cups. Food I purchased the #2 combo and it was delicious. The combo includes a large pizza ( one topping ), cheese bread, and 2 drinks. We did not purchase a plate for the salad bar but it looked fresh with many healthy selections. Games I paid for the 120 minute card and it was well worth it! You can even pause it at the kiosk when you are eating! They had many arcade type games from race cars to a Mario interactive game. My daughter played everything and enjoyed her time going from game to game. We will be back!

On Sunday, January 21st , 2024, at around 2 pm, my husband, 8-year-old son, and I visited the Chuck E. Cheese's location in Thousand Oaks with the excitement of seeing the animatronic, but our experience turned out to be disheartening and humiliating. Having attended and planned numerous birthday parties at Chuck E. Cheese's across different locations and have had friends and family members that have worked at Chuckie Cheese, I was deeply disappointed by the recent experience at the Thousand Oaks location. When making reservations for parties, the staff typically inquire about the number of guests to ensure ample seating. Additional seating is usually reserved as needed, while the rest of the dining area is open for all guests to utilize. Upon arrival, my son, who has a fascination with animatronics, wanted to sit as close as possible to the animatronic. We noticed that there were unoccupied booths not reserved for any party. Out of courtesy, my husband politely asked a father from one of the birthday parties if they were using the unoccupied booths near their table. He kindly confirmed that the booths were not being used by their party, and we settled into the second closest booth to the animatronic. As we were enjoying our meal, we were asked by an employee to move from our booth, under the premise of accommodating the birthday party host (next to us) request, even though their reservation and party size had not warranted any additional seating. She told us that we couldn't sit there because they were about to have the birthday show for the party next to us and that they wanted us to move. Despite the employee offering to help us move our food to another booth, our meal was interrupted, and the show was delayed until we relocated. I raised concerns with the management, seeking a resolution, and expressed that there no clear signage or information indicating that the nearby booth area was reserved for the birthday parties, but was met with a dismissive response - leaving me with the disheartening feeling that my concerns were not being taken seriously. As we were leaving, my husband took the initiative to apologize to the employee if there was any misunderstanding or if we had come across as rude when she asked us to move. It was during this conversation that the employee made it known that she didn't want to ask us to move, and that the request had come from the wife of the party due to her discomfort with us SITTING NEAR HER TABLE. This interaction added another layer of discomfort and disappointment to our visit. It was disheartening to witness the lack of consideration and empathy from the other party involved. We had hoped for a pleasant family outing, but it was overshadowed by an unwelcoming atmosphere and a humiliating incident. As someone with experience in managing customer interactions, I found this treatment disappointing, and I strongly believe that the staff's approach to the situation should have been more considerate. It would have been more appropriate for the management to address the issue by reminding the party hosts that their reservation only included their assigned table, without disrupting other guests who had rightfully occupied unreserved seating. The lack of support and resolution from the Chuck E. Cheese management left me feeling unsupported and disappointed. I was left with the unfortunate impression that discrimination was upheld, as the establishment failed to rectify the situation or acknowledge the impact it had on our experience as valued customers.

This recent encounter at Chuck E. Cheese's has tarnished the many positive memories I have had at the establishment for over thirty years. The lack of understanding and consideration for our position as paying customers and the handling of the situation left a lasting negative impression on what was meant to be an...

As a customer, my experience at Chuck E. Cheese was far from satisfactory. The environment was unpleasant, with cleanliness being a notable issue. I brought my 3 kids to enjoy of a nice Saturday morning only to be sadly disappointed. They enjoyable and sanitary environment they could've been was wasted by the immense amount of dirty games and unsanitary tables. The overall management seemed lacking, as there was a general sense of disorganization and neglect throughout the establishment.

Chuck E. Cheese was like a sardine can - jam-packed with people everywhere you looked. It was so crowded that finding a spot to sit or even walk without bumping into someone was a real challenge. The food must’ve also known that feeling because they smelled like rotten sardines it unfortunately was not up to par either. It was bland, excessively oily, and overpriced for the quality offered. The combination of unappealing food and high prices only added to the disappointment of the visit.

As I entered Chuck E. Cheese, I couldn't help but notice a strong odor that was definitely not pizza-related. It became apparent that an employee, who was about to greet customers, had been smoking weed right before entering the establishment. The stench and smoke was coming from her car as I was parking right beside her. This lack of professionalism was not only concerning but also contributed to the overall negative experience especially when I saw she was a manager, I asked who she was and was answered to the general manager how great is that!

Overall, my time at Chuck E. Cheese was utterly terrible and wasted. The combination of a gross environment, poor management, and subpar food made for a truly unpleasant experience if I could rate it 0...

I wanted to tell the manager, Steve, directly about my experience. But I was not able to get through to speak with someone.

My daughter and I were there for 2.5 hours and had a nice time. All was well until we were walking up to the prize counter, and we realized my daughter had accidentally dropped her red play pass bracelet. We looked everywhere . I asked a staff person if someone returned it to them, and she said she saw a red bracelet on the ground in front of the registers, but now it’s gone. My daughter was crying and upset and I was stressed trying to find the bracelet. It seems like someone may have taken it. I asked another staff person at the prize counter if they could make an announcement about the lost bracelet, and hopefully that would prompt someone to return it. Instead, she spoke with the first woman I had spoken to, and they not only gave us a new red bracelet, but gave my daughter way more tickets than she originally had. I was so shocked and thankful for their kindness.

Unfortunately my daughter continued to be cranky and hard to manage. The lady handling the prizes was a champ and so patient and kind. We got one thing and ended up saving the rest of the tickets for next time.

I want to apologize to her for my daughter’s behavior, but I also want to say thank you to the two woman who saved the day and were so incredibly generous to us. My daughter and I were both stressed out and you both helped us so much. Thank you for being awesome...
