Worse experience I ever had came on a Sunday for the first time with my wife and dog . Front desk asked me if my dog his a service dog wich I showed her my service dog card and told her his a service dog. She was OK. 10mn later after we seating down eating chips and salsa out side where they took over the parking lot approximately 6 parking spots was taking by this restaurant. Angie the manager came to our table and told us we can't stay with the dog . We explained her very nicely that his a service dog here is my wife's card she didn't care whatsoever. I saw my wife with tears in her eyes I said to her it's OK I'll put him in the car and I'll watch him . She was so hungry I had no choice she diabetic on top. Finally after she had her food I asked for the check and we were about to leave the restaurant. My Wife decided that she want to explain her experience to the manager Angie. Angie came with worse attitude and had her words said, my wife couldn't speak she was so sad to see that the manager did not care about her experience, finally I step up and explained the manager about our experience also mentioned that this restaurant is a legally taking parking spot and using it to accupied guests we can have our dog with us . She was careless by all means. There is more to this story about this Mexican restaurant experience we had and all documented more to be continued. We left the restaurant and this was the picture

The atmosphere was very quiet, few patrons on the Sunday l went there (Easter). Staff was distracted and chatty between themselves so they forgot about bringing the drinks, the wait for the food was 'ignored' bc l wasn't in a hurry and the ppl next to me were having a very interesting topic for conversation. The quality of food is good for the location (3⭐). Arrachera beef/steak (6 oz $28) the main course, was good and well cooked but perhaps a bit too much w tenderizer (very chewable, but a bit too salty) l guess that's what gets you to order, either more beer or margaritas!😆 Side portions very, very minimal for the price, 'a smudge' (1.5 table spoons of each). l would say a bit more than disappointing for a Mexican food place. (with family in this industry, l know wholesale beans/rice are reasonably cheap, and so l expected at least, a bit more for a generous portion of those). The premium draft beer size 22 oz ($9) was perhaps the best deal!. Hopefully l will give this location another try this summer.

I had dinner at Cisco's with my wife and toddler son and we really enjoyed our meal. The chips were freshly made and still warm. The salsa was flavorful and slightly spicy. My wife had the vegetarian California tacos plate and I had a spinach and portobello mushroom enchilada, which was cheesy, and delicious. My wife's tacos contained black beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato and avocado. Both dishes were excellent. I guess they believe that vegetarians are naturally healthier eaters, and so they didn't even ask us if we wanted rice as a side dish. Our dishes came with a side of beans and a steamed vegetable, which were delicious, by the way. My dish came with broccoli and my wife's tacos came with peppers, zucchini and broccoli. The veggies were steamed with with garlic, salt and freshly cracked pepper. Cisco's offers a Sunday brunch from 10-2 PM on, well, Sundays! They're very popular for lunch as well as happy hour. I highly recommend you try Cisco's.

Ciscos has been in Thousand Oaks for many years - expanding from the Westlake Village location to this secondary location. Its typically fairly busy and has a continual stream of people that can oftentimes fill up the capacity to 2/3 full however the variable that the bar is the location in which gets the excitement... it makes for a very nice family atmosphere with a quieter dining room. The guacamoli made fresh at your table is amazing and its something to order every time! I like hot- but MILD is the choice I usually go with- I like to taste my food.... The margaritas are OK though the Cadallac Margaritas are VERY tasty- same with Pinya Coladas and other bartender enhanced cocktails. The servers, hostes', management, bust-boys and wait-staff are ALWAYS very polite, though sometimes streached between tables on a week night where there are maybe 5 tables going at once. The employees are Awesome with VP - and provide crayons and coloring menus - offer to take his order and place it in the kitchen before all else- which, if you have kids and they are YOUNGER, then you could appreciate what kind of attention that is- Its a great and comfortable feeling where you feel you are looked after in those small ways. As for the menu- my husband loves everything he gets. I just order the wrong items and steal my husbands :-) I say that its not better than El Torrito in taste however it isnt bad. Overall- It needs a bit of a facelift inside however the tropical mexican flair is a very nice feel, sometimes the music is up too loud however its not bad.... Food isnt a tripple diamond resort ensamble however its decent and you get more than...

I have lived locally for close to a decade now. During this time, I have been coming to this Cisco location often. I'd say, of all of the places we frequent, this is the most or close second of the frequented restaurants.

One thing I like about coming here is that we are seated fast, and great ambiance and prices. It seems no matter when we come, there is always a good amount of people here having a great time. It does appear that things haven't been as busy lately, but still a good amount of people.

Talking about people, there are always plenty of staff out and about helping. Whether it is the servers taking orders, and making sure you're doing good, or the server's helpers bringing out the free chips and salsas Another reason I enjoy the server's helpers, they always make sure we are comfortable. We enjoy sitting outside in the afternoons, and they have plenty of outside heat lamps. These helpers make sure you're warm on those cold days. For the most part, all of the staff here have been and are very friendly, which is a plus nowadays.

Moving on to their prices and food. We normally only come during happy hour, and the prices and food are good. We have tried several items on their happy hour menu, but lately, we have been gravitating to the TJ street tacos and the sampler platter. The dishes are good considering the price point and considering this is bar food. Another great thing is that this food has always been consistent, and that too is a huge positive in today's economy.

I look forward to continuing...
