I’m going to give about 2 stars, because there was one server that turned our entire experience with the food around later that night but let me give insight into what our experience was like. We first arrived around 5 pm on a (very packed weekend) in order to place reservations on our seating in advance for our group to arrive at 7/8 pm. One thing I’d like to point out beforehand, is that if you’re planning to bring children along I’m going to let you know that some of the waiting times for some of the arcade games is RIDICULOUSLY LONG. Unless you have older kids, any kids below the ages of 7 aren’t going to have that much fun when a majority of the time is waiting and wrestling with other people trying to play the same game as you are. That’s my only suggestion for the arcade / gaming area, and it wasn’t as bad as I originally thought it was going to be considering it was my first experience there.
Moving on to our food experience... Our party had a very difficult time with one of the waitresses there, she was very rude and didn’t check our table at all. We had a spill that practically was a huge puddle on our table so we struggled with the “napkins” that don’t dry anything for the majority of that night as we hoped she would return (never did until we complained to the manager). Not to mention we didn’t get our seats until 9:00 PM, when we had reserved 4 hours in advance (very frustrating!). She didn’t bother checking in for refills and one of our tables was stuck waiting for almost an entire hour for food that we didn’t even order. Not to mention, most of the food there is very pricy considering the taste was adequate and not that great of quality. We had to have an entirely other waiter who wasn’t covering our tables come and save the day as he struggled cleaning about 4 tables of leftover plates (2 of which belonged to the waitress), and the spill because our original waitress was too busy chatting amongst other workers and only checked in at her other tables. I was really disappointed in the service, as there was only one person there who seemed to know how to work around the mess and could get us situated. Thank you very much! As that waiter knows who he is, it was really appreciated. (:
I would’ve recommended this place to friends and family if she had done more, but the only thing that would bring me back is the games. Do not go for food unless you expect to starve for a whole hour as you wait another 3 hours for seating!! The only other reason I’d give the extra star is given the night was very busy and they probably didn’t know how to handle so many...
Read moreOur first time to this Dave & Busters and it was overall a great experience. Every aspect of this place five stars except for the overall rating. I’m ratingthis place at three, because the one and only reason we had decided to go was for the virtual reality games.
When we arrived, the lady in front took our payment for the virtual reality games and we proceeded to go in, ate lunch and once we were ready to play, as we were looking around, we couldn’t find the virtual reality game we went there to play. They did have a couple of virtual reality games, but they were really on the weak side. He wanted to get the serious stuff. When we asked where it was at, they had apologized to us and told us that they had just sold their game and gotten rid of it within the last week.
Don’t get me wrong.
This place was great.
Everything that they had was awesome and their customer service was on point.
Food was good but I had to give them a three overall because the only reason we went there, turns out that it wasn’t going to happen after all.
Now …
If that was it, I probably would’ve just given them a 4 star rating but the fact the lady in front actually sold us the tickets for the special virtual reality game you have to pay for separately, really got me excited to play and it was just that much more a let down when I found out that they didn’t have it!
They did give us credit for the cost of those tickets and transfer them into focus for us to play with, but they didn’t give us a refund so we have to use those credits in order to which is part of the reason why they’re getting overall .
The final straw that really cemented in their three star rating overall was when I was playing the pitching speed in back, I got the high score which is the top price with a bonus and the payout on the machine got up to like 683 tickets and then automatically stopped, and when I asked them where the pay screen is and how much tickets I’m supposed to get and what formula the game is using in order to be able to figure what the amount of tickets are, he said they didn’t have one so I feel like I got ripped off and shorted on the amount of tickets I could’ve won. Never know what that price truly was but I don’t know now because they don’t even know.
OK, that’s all my rambling and I do recommend going to this place but don’t put too much hope into the whole gaming...
Read moreWhere should I even start, my first mistake was not checking the arcade before purchasing a card because it was awful. 80 percent of the games were not even ticket based games they were just simulations or games that reached the limit of 100 tickets as the jackpot. It was so boring and, of course, all the games were rigid, and there was one that was broken and only gave me 10 tickets instead of 200. After spending 50 dollars, we got one keychain, we only got 800 tickets which you really can’t buy anything from the prize place. Not to mention, everything from there was from the 5below store unless you wanted a 100,000 ticket PlayStation.
Moving on to the dining area, you had to just sit down at a random table and wait to be served, it was not even that busy, there was probably seven to ten tables with six people working as waiters and we still had to wait 45 minutes to be given plates, and then waited 25 minutes to be asked if we were ready to order. We order a plate with cheese sticks and pizza with two shots during happy hour. We waited 25 minutes to get our food and 35 minutes for the shots. We asked for extra ranch when we order and was never brought any, until I asked 15 minutes later because we kept on getting ignored by the waiter. It then took 20 minutes to get, two ranches. We ate cold food and then decided to check out. To our shock, they charge extra for ranch and we were never told before ordering or during, or even after, and when I told them why I was being charged for 3 oz ranch they said it was a new policy, I did not even want to argue, so I said okay whatever and paid. I wasn’t even going to leave a review until I found my receipt and saw that we were charged full price for my friend’s shots during happy hour and for one extra ranch that came with the food we purchased. I should of checked my receipt better but I was distracted with not only the horrible service but the extra ranch charges. The service was awful, the food was mediocre, and the whole place was just a waste of time and money. If I could I’ll give...
