I ordered over the phone a deconstructed pollo a brasa sandwich, asked the guy to not forget the onion salsa bc last time they did, explained I don't like food touching specially sauces bc it gets soggy, hence, deconstructed. When I get there they give me a tiny container of the salsa filled half way, in the past they given me a much bigger container for same order. The $20 sandwich is focaccia bread with rotisserie chix (usually dryish) that's y the salsa is so important. The register guy was rude and disrespectful even told me I never said deconstructed, he then proceeded to tell me next time explain it in spanish, if he didn't understand me over the phone he should of ask then, not serve the sandwich on the same box as the fries, which made it all that much soggier. He was very annoyed and somehow blamed me to the chef. They gave me the extra salsa but charged me for it without saying, so when I saw it I reminded him they owed me one from last time... they made me wait over 10 mins to give me the same sandwich we were both very annoyed he said I had to talk to the chef who never came out to speak. I was there for over 30mins chef never bother, it was another kitchen assistant that very nicely stepped in and was able to complete my order. That chef and that register guy are terrible, will...

I tried this place for the first time. I ordered take out through their website and requested the pickup time to be about 75 minutes. It was quite expensive for what we ordered. When I got there, I had to wait another 15 minutes past the pick up time. So it took them about 90 minutes to prepare 3 entrees, 2 appetizers, and 2 desserts. But it cost $150 with a 10% tip.

I was a bit annoyed because they didn't seem terribly busy, there were open tables, no line, and it looked like there were only 4 tickets on the board. Not to mention how expensive it all was and the fact that I was asked to leave a tip (and did) when I ordered online. I was a little annoyed I couldn't take back my tip, honestly.

They eventually apologized for the wait when they handed me my food and I was ok giving them the benefit of the doubt and brushing it off because of the holiday rush.

The big problem here is my sister found METAL SHAVINGS in her food! She picked it out of her mouth! How terrifying! I can understand the delay getting our food but there is absolutely no excuse for this. It was instantly off putting for obvious reasons and who knows if we ingested any of it or not.

The food we did have was good but given the food safety issue, we will not...

We visited Limeña Peruvian Eatery after we craved or favorite Peruvian dish, and our usual Peruvian place in Moorpark has become flaky with their hours and availability. We were not disappointed!

We ordered 2 of the Tallarín Saltado de Veggie and a quinoa vegetable stir fry for my 4-year-old. Everything was delicious! The tallarín dishes had linguini noodles tossed with large Peruvian corn, peas, carrots, and large wedges of Roma tomatoes and red onion. All the veggies were cooked al dente. It all made for a flavorful and light broth. They came with sides of spicy 🔥 Peruvian pesto sauce, which was delicious!

My son enjoyed his quinoa stir fry. I tried it, and really liked it. They didn't have a kids menu, but this was a healthier option anyway. I highly recommend a...

Family-owned authentic Peruvian restaurant in @visitconejovalley @Limeña Peruvian Eatery 2388 E Thousand Oaks Blvd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362 Recently explored the beautiful Conejo Valley and found that they have a lot of great spots to eat at, one of them being Limeña Peruvian Eatery! Thanks to Ruben's recommendations, we enjoyed Ceviche Carretillero, Lomo Saltado, and Tallarin Verde con Milanesa. Everything was seriously so good, and Ruben even shared his knowledge with us! Fun fact: ceviche is originally from Peru. #Visitconejovalley #conejovalley #thousandoaks #foodblogger #food #foodies #lastbiteboys #fyp

We found this great place hidden amongst Thousand Oaks. This place you could smell how amazing it was on the outside. We sat down and met the owner who walked us thru all the types of dishes and even taught us a few phrases and translations. He also recommend we try the purple corn drink, which was delicious. For meals we ordered the lamb and the beef, and they both came with rice and sauce. Both dishes were mouth wateringly delicious and freshly cooked. The service was great, they checked on us periodically. The prices were also great, ever affordable for the amount of food. Check this place out if you ever wanted to try some Peruvian food! It’s worth it!
