I really hate to leave a review of this nature as I genuinely love this place and their coffee, but too often I have had poor customer service experiences. Yesterday I came in for my regular, 20oz Iced Vanilla Jing City. When my drink was called I asked the young lady (young, petite, short hair, dark skin complexion) If I could please have whip with my drink.
She abruptly says, “in the future, we charge for whip cream.” It’s not the reminder, which I was unaware of by the way, it’s the way she abruptly responded and seemed to be bothered that I asked for whip. I said, not a problem, I will pay for it. I got back in line to pay for the whip cream.
I was then helped by another lady who said I didn’t have to pay for the whip and it was not a problem. I did not want to seem as if I was cutting corners or refusing to pay for whip cream, I simply wanted to pay for the additional request I made for my drink. The lady now helping me said “they’re supposed to say that.” As an employer, I would advise my employees to communicate that to a customer before their order is processed to avoid disrupting a decent customer service experience.
Today, I came back in and called in an order for a 20oz Iced Chai Latte, I was educated enough this time around to ask for whip cream beforehand to ensure I was properly charged. I came in for my drink, paid and was attended by the same young lady that handed me my drink the day prior. I was on my way out when I happened to turn around see that same young lady, gossiping to her co worker about me. Both looked stunned when I turned around and heard.
If you must talk about a customer, at least wait until they have exited. I am sure she might be a great employee, certainly she is a good barista but is immature and lacks very basic customer service skills.
If you must come here, I assure you their coffee, drinks, toasts, breakfast burrito and other menu items will not disappoint you. Their customer service certainly will disappoint you at some point.
This is just one experience of others I have had. I hope this place refines their customer service...
Read moreI found this place when I needed to kill time before a hair cut across the street and I'm extremely glad because it's fantastic. Organic coffee is very important to me (I highly recommend a quick search about non-organic beans). This place offers only organic plus a mouthful of other body happy options that I now need to check out. I had the nitro cold brew. GUYS, SO GOOD. I have had a lot of cold brew (sorry, adrenals) and this is AMAZING. Easily top 5. In fact, it may have taken my #1 spot. Smooth, perfect balance of rich/bright flavors, and expert level roast. The low acidity is kind of their thing, and TBH it made an enormous difference. Even after my coffee warmed up (why do I let bad things happen to good coffee?!) it retained it's smooth taste and feel. While I was there a gentleman who lives out in the valley had come all the way there to buy beans, AND recently switched to them from a brand he had been loyal to for years. Sorry for stealing your review, bro, but I feel like this says so much about their quality, flavor, and body benefits! One of the owners was there and he was knowledgeable without trying to prove his coffee superiority by cramming every coffee snob term into one conversation. So refreshing. Genuine belief in their product is part of the vibe here from the owner to the baristas. Thousand Oaks needs this. We drink way to much coffee to not choose the beans that are doing our...

If you thought you couldn’t decide on food, what until you get a glimpse of their drink menu! Longevity Coffee provides their customers with great blend of 100% organic and low acid coffee, while also including a unique list of signature blends, and house specialties comprised of caffeine and non-caffeinated options (including protein shakes).
