There are quite a few decent Thai restaurants in the Conejo Valley & several of them are very popular beyond what I would consider expected for the quality of their food. This Exotic Thai, though, is always a reliable go-to for my Thai food cravings. The quality of the food is always consistent & delicious. The staff is courteous & efficient. And I can usually get seated here without waiting half an hour like some other Thai restaurants in the area. I haven't had everything on the menu but a few things stand out, like the pad see u, & the tom yum noodle soup with shrimp. Just good quality, fresh & tasty Thai food with a menu of most of the usual Thai food entrees. It's located in the Palm Plaza shopping center & parking can be a little tight but I usually don't have much trouble finding a spot. The restaurant itself is large & airy & can accommodate larger groups easily.

This business was rude, even though I walked in way before closing, they did not stop coming up to me, asking if I was ready to order. I wasn’t given time to look at the menu completely. I asked them if they would like me to go since they’re already close to closing and all I got for a response was the “kitchen is on lunch so you must order now.” I had more than enough time to try their food, but I’m still gonna give them a one star. Their customer service was Something that needs a lot of work. I couldn’t even enjoy or absorb the atmosphere since they kicked me out basically even though they have the front door still open at 3:13 PM

This was my first time trying Thai food....and it was delicous!! If you love spicy food do medium heat for you food! The Yellow curry with the potatoes were a good cool down form the spick drunken noodles and soup! The hot wings were sooo delicious and crispy! I'm going to come back here more often! The only down side was that I would like to have more napkins! I felt like when I asked they only gave me one more napkin lol . But other than that food was delicious! First time Thai eaters need to try this place!

Have been to this restaurant numerous times and usually it is very good, but last night fell short. My combination fried rice literally had only two shrimp in it and hardly any chicken or beef. It was also pretty bland, so much so that I had to add salt to it. It wasn't horrible, it just wasn't great like it usually is. One of my fellow diners also said his food was very bland and he gets the same meal every time and it is supposed to have a little spice in it. He actually sent it back and requested they redo it with some kind of flavor and spice but even when they brought it back the second time it was still pretty bland. It almost seemed like there was a different chef than there was in the past. I honestly probably won't go back again after last night's meal. There are just too many good Thai restaurants around to bother taking another chance...

For whatever reason, the yellow curry has ZERO flavor. I’ve ordered it twice, 3-4 weeks apart and it has no taste other than spicy water. The first time it happened, it had the consistency of literal water with a THICK layer of oil floating on top. When I reheated that order the next day, the oil had congealed and it was really gross, especially since it should not be served with a full layer of oil on top. This is all really strange because the other location in Newbury Park KILLS it every single time and actually puts salt in their curry. I don’t know what it is about this location but it is definitely a huge waste of money to order a saltless, flavorless yellow curry. There isn’t even a curry flavor! So weird…...
