Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Three Rivers

We went there today did see they were somewhat busy, not a problem. Went in immediately seated great. Little after 1 pm so put our order in at 1:20pm. Waited waited some more finally my wife did get her salad 35 minutes later. She didn’t start eating because we thought we would soon see the main course come out just figured we would take it home. Again no problem. Waitress did come apologized for the wait and thought it wouldn’t be much longer. Really liked her (Shania). Waited until 2:21pm. finally had enough waiting. Found someone told to bring me the bill for our drinks and the salad. Waitress again very helpful (NO and I mean no reflection upon her) came out with our bill. We had noticed people at the bar were getting served way ahead of us that came in after us. Must be they make more money off drinks so they can afford to have other customers leave. Apparently our our order just kept getting pushed back until finally it pushed us right out the door oh well. We were asked also if we wanted to speak with manager. Manager should have come out without having to asked so I lay it on them and not our waitress. Not sure when I may go back never had this kind of service there before so I don’t know what’s up. I had ordered and prepaid a catering order for a company meeting the day before I needed it. I arrived on time at the curbside pickup. A server came out and asked me my name and said she was packing my stuff up and would be right out. 10 mins later, she came out and asked if I was the one that called in an order that morning. I said no, I ordered mine online and paid for it yesterday.showed her the receipt and screenshot. She told me another woman had called in the same kind of order and was inside asking for it. And that they thought it was the same person. I told her no and that I had a meeting in a few minutes so I couldn’t wait. She said ok, you pre paid for yours so I will get it. 10 mins later the manager walked out, box in hand, to another woman’s car, loaded food into and came to my car asking about the mix up. I explained everything again and he said it was his corporates fault, he didn’t know and that he would have my order ready in 5 mins. 20 mins later, it was brought out to my car. Making me late for the meeting and instead of doing what was right, they did what was easy and less confrontational. Do not order catering from them. I know I never will again. Terrible customer service...

My teens & I came in for lunch today on our way back from their summer camp. We have a 3 hour drive to get home & were quite happy to find an Applebee’s on the way. We were seated immediately without a wait, which we highly appreciated because we were very hungry. Our booth was comfortable & clean. Lauren was our server & she was delightful & PHENOMENAL!! We ordered a couple appetizers to start. They were brought to our table without having to wait long. They were all cooked perfection & the temperature was just right! Everything tasted really, really good!! Lauren kept our drinks full & we highly appreciated that, especially because my son drinks a lot & drinks fast. When our food came out, it was absolutely perfect, just like our appetizers!! Our meals were hot, just the way we love & prefer it to be! The steaks were cooked right & exactly as we requested. The onion rings & french fries were crisp. My french onion soup was absolutely amazing! We ordered way more than we could eat & Lauren was on top of to go boxes & bags. She’s truly the best!! This is the first we’ve been out to eat in a long time & I’m glad we came here & had such a fantastic experience!! Thank you Lauren & thank you...
