I come here every day and order the same thing everyday. Yes, it's the small hot caramel truffle and the large blended caramel truffle chiller. Things were great, service was great. I don't know what happened. The last two months or more has been terrible to say the least. During the week, we get coffee in the late afternoon. It's a 50/50 or 40/60 chance that our drinks are made wrong.
I've complained a few times to say the least. The manager and morning crew is always amazing. I've been compensated a few times and I really do appreciate it. It's the main reason this store gets a 3 star and not a 2.
If we didn't love our drinks so much I wouldn't come here at all. Because despite the amazing staff in the morning and the really nice manager that works there, I'm so sick of getting inconsistent drinks in the late afternoon. Which is the majority of times that we go. We only do the mornings on our weekends.
I usually give new people the benefit. But when you keep making the same mistake over and over when I see you.. I have to wonder how the heck you still have a job.
Today was no different. We show up and not only was my husband's drink not made right but the dude made my drink a large and charged me for it. I'm tired of it! This store is going to lose most of our business now because I'm done wasting time and money trying to get coffee in the evenings and never knowing what we are going to get.

Read moreExtremely disappointed by the service I received at the Black Rock Coffee Bar on 99W Pacific Highway today (Wednesday, 4/23 around 2:15pm). I’ve been a loyal customer at this location and others for months and have never had such a disrespectful encounter.
I placed a mobile order through the app and arrived at the correct location, confirmed by the GPS on the Black Rock app. The employee working at the time (dark hair tied back, light facial hair) insisted I was at the wrong store and completely dismissed the proof I showed him. I remained calm and respectful throughout our interaction, but he was very rude, condescending, and offered no interest or support in resolving the issue whatsoever. No refund, no drinks/food, nothing—he walked away mid-conversation to assist a drive-through customer, leaving me without any assistance, feeling very disrespected and without the order i had paid for.
This same employee has been slow and has made mistakes with my orders in the past, but this was by far the most unprofessional experience I’ve had. Other staff have always been great, but this level of disdain and disregard for customer service is completely unacceptable. Black Rock, please...

Today they refused to serve me while their window was “closed” because they had a portable ac unit in the window. They could’ve opened it to communicate or bring my drinks out the door they still had available to them. I ordered my drinks in advance that, surprise, were not ready when I got there. They didn’t even have the basics of customer service to acknowledge me. Instead AFTER I stood there waiting, had another customer pulling out the drive thru tell me they said for her to tell me to get in the long line cuz their window wasn’t working. The whole point of ordering pick up is that you don’t have to wait in that line and your drinks should be ready when you get there. This store consistently does not meet that expectation. Any other Black Rock location I’ve been to does. This store unfortunately is the one on my route to work in the morning so it’s begrudgingly a part of my mornings a few days a week.
