They are serving old stale food here. Including the bottled sodas. Mine is dated 7/11/22 and it's 9/16/22. The sweet and sour chicken tastes like the breading is stale. The bread noodles in the chow mein was definitely stale. The shrimp are not deveined......after taking a few bites I felt sick. I didn't finish it. I wanted a refund but didn't have time to go back. In addition to all of this, they had old flyers posted on the windows dating back to 2019 and they had up old Christmas decorations and it's the beginning of September. The way your restaurant looks is a representation of what you serve. If you are neglecting your building, then you are neglecting your business, thus, bad old food. To add to this, when I first arrived, the older man continued to watch me. I don't know why, I hate to blame race , but I am Black.

The amount that they are charging people for food and drinks but serving old items is unacceptable. They need to be reported and shut down. I ended up eating a maple bar for lunch. And I regret bringing one of my clients here as I was working. Thank God her drink didn't expire until 10/22. Lastly, two young girls left as soon as I arrived, then immediately came back in the building when they saw me exit. Very weird. I think they are doing something they have no business doing there. Like tampering with customers foods. If they are, that's...

Not good, plain and simple. To begin with, a friend (vegetarian) ordered from the vegetable menu and it was cooked using chicken stock or powder and came with pork rice on the side (fried rice is the only option given, but it doesn't mention pork. In the notes she asked for white)....every meal came with very old smelling and tasting pork rice and crab rangoons that needed to be thrown away. The crab filling had a gross chemical taste. The lo-main on the other hand had a strong chemical smell. I couldn't eat it because it was so strong. My office ordered 7 different dishes and some sides.....not one person finished their food and easily 80% of the order was thrown away including 4 full dishes that were never touched because of the look or smell. What a waste of money!!!...not food though....I'm still not convinced it was real food.....do they make fake Chinese food? I don't mean processed, I mean straight up 5 minute crafts...

Canton has been through a lot of changes over the past few years. And struggled a bit during COVID. But they have come through it and are better than ever. The lounge has been remodeled. The staff has a great attitude, takes care of you and pours solid drinks. They have a new KJ for karaoke and he is great. And they have improved the lighting and the sound for their karaoke singers. The patrons are not too ‘local’, so it's welcoming to anyone, regulars or newbies.

I recommend the bar/lounge highly. The restaurant is no more and only serves food in the lounge or for takeout/delivery. Food quality is pretty good under the new owners, but the dim sum is still awesome. I occasionally will come here for dinner before karaoke starts at 8PM, as the food is still a 3 or 4. But the bar is a 4.5 or 5, especially if you want music (karaoke on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, open mike on...
