Looks can be deceiving. I ordered a chicken strip basket for lunch, when I opened the to go box it looked amazing. The chicken strips were small (they looked like fried prawns) but I was excited to try it. It came with french fries, coleslaw, country gravy, garlic toast and ketchup. The chicken strips were golden but flavorless and very bland. There was zero seasoning on these. The country gravy was the same, bland. The fries look like fresh potatoes but every place in this area that uses fresh potatoes to make fries does not know how to properly fry them. These were mushy and limp. Like Downey‘s cute little café in Bayview, their downtown Tillamook food truck doesn’t disappoint. I had the hot (breakfast-themed) vegetarian bowl. It was full of diced red tomatoes with herbs, sliced onions, just the right amount of cheese, sliced mushrooms, tomatoes, tender-crisp spears of asparagus, Brussels sprouts and sliced red peppers, topped with 2 eggs (I ordered mine medium well) and a generous portion of delicious hollandaise. 10/10. Definitely recommend!!! Chicken strips, hand dipped , fresh chicken - panko fried. Oh my gosh. So so good!!!! French fries, amazing - fresh potatoes. I would ask for them well done next time. But amazing. Cole slaw, AMAZING. Wow, so many great things in on dish. Garlic bread was the perfect touch to the meal. Cinnamon roll, GINORMOUS and really good as well.
