The inside of the restaurant seemed clean and spacious. Waitress was to concerned with friends of the owners and what they brought from home to eat inside the restaurant. We were asked if we wanted anything to drink. I asked for hot Tea. The Hot tea never showed up so I had to request it a second time. The Tea finally showed up and was good. My wife ordered the Family special Lomein and was small but good. I ordered Pork chow mien, Pork Fried Rice and General Tsos chicken. The General Tsos was a replacement item for Sweet and Sour Chicken which I do not like at all. I paid 3 dollars extra for the General Tsos Chicken. They brought out Sweet and Sour Chicken with some pepper flakes in it. I told them that I did not want sweet and sour chicken but that is what I got. They insisted that it was General Tsos. I told them that I have had numerous General Tsos Chicken and this is sweet and sour chicken which I do not like. The Hostess/Waitress stood at our table listening to our complaint and insisted that it was General Tsos Chicken. I told them I would pay for the extra but I will never be back. I have never been to a Restaurant that brings you what you specifically told them that you do not like and make you pay extra for it. My wife asked for more spice but that didn't work out either. My wife had to use almost a half a bottle of Siracha sauce to get the spice that she was looking for. The Hostess/Waitress just stood there at our table and my wife had to tell her to go back to work because she was making us uncomfortable. There is something wrong at this place. Now that I think about it, I wonder if there is some human trafficking going on there. That Hostess or Waitress whatever her position was, almost seemed like she was asking for help the way she stood there. I hope that is not what was going on at this...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped in for a late dinner. We were quickly seated and in short order the waitress plopped down two glasses of water and asked if we were ready to order. We had a couple of questions which she answered very politely and then took our order. So far, so good. The owner stopped by our table and greeted us. It was nice. One sip of the water told us this water was not quite right. It tasted terrible. Like chlorine. We chose not to drink it. Once the food arrived we dug right in and that’s where things went awry. Pork fried rice was very dry and looked as if it had been sitting awhile. Bbq pork was cold and hard. The fried shrimp were good asks the broccoli beef was good but had too much sauce. The sweet and sour pork was deeply fried and hard. After eating two bites sized pieces I decided to call it quits. My husband agreed. We paid our bill and left. But this is not the end of the story. At about 2:30am both my husband and myself awoke feeling nauseated. This quickly turned into a four hour stay at the porcelain thrown violently vomiting. We both went to visit the urgent care the following day to make sure wet didn’t have COVID, but determined that it had to be food poisoning. I did call the owner the following day and he was very nice. We survived, but suffice to say that I won’t be visiting that...
Read moreA great experience! A wonderful surprise from a little pplace everyone just flies right past.
Even though we didn't know to order ahead, we placed our order over the phone from their parking lot and it was ready in less than 20 minutes. We watched about 10 other patrons come picknup orders. If this place is so popular with the locals, you know it can't be bad!
So being our first time here we were blown away by the sheer number of items you could order. And you can even mix and match for a combo of your voice! Amazjng!
The fining room is closed of course, but we took our food to the jetty and ate on the tailgate.
The order was neatly packed in containers, tgere was plenty of sauce and cookies, and they even included eating utensils! (It may be strange to u that I was shocked by thus ....but we have experienced so many places that forget this common decency!)
We ordered the coconut prawn apps, a bbq pork app, and our two dinner combos.
OMG there were 10 prawns in this appetizer and what seemed like a pound of tender bbq pork!
Little did we know that our combos actually came with pirk, egg drop soup and so much food we were stuffed beyond belief!
I could make a meal out of the prawns and pork apps alone for Pete's sake!
Trust me.... this place is...
